  • Patent number: 9802395
Abstract: The present invention provides a synthetic resin laminate, which is excellent in terms of shape stability in a high-temperature or high-humidity environment, surface hardness, heat resistance, coating adhesion and the like. The synthetic resin laminate is formed by laminating a resin layer (A) including 5% to 55% by mass of a (meth)acrylate copolymer (C) and 95% to 45% by mass of a polycarbonate (D) on one surface or both surfaces of a base material layer (B) comprising polycarbonate, wherein the synthetic resin laminate is characterized: in that the (meth)acrylate copolymer (C) includes an aromatic (meth)acrylate unit (c1) and a methyl methacrylate unit (c2) at a mass ratio (c1/c2) of 5 to 80/20 to 95; in that the mass average molecular weight of the (meth)acrylate copolymer (C) is 5,000 to 30,000; and in that the viscosity average molecular weight of the polycarbonate (D) is 21,000 to 40,000.

  • Publication number: 20170136748
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a synthetic resin laminate for use in transparent substrate materials or transparent protective materials, having excellent shape stability and surface hardness. This has been achieved by laminating a resin composition formed by polymer-alloying i) 25% to 100% by mass of a specific styrene-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid copolymer consisting of 45% to 70% by mass of a styrene monomer unit, 10% to 30% by mass of an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer unit, and 10% to 35% by mass of a vinyl monomer, and ii) 75% to 0% by mass of a resin comprising a vinyl monomer as a constitutional unit, on one surface of a base material layer comprising a polycarbonate as a main component. Thus, the present invention provides the above-described synthetic resin laminate, a transparent material comprising the synthetic resin laminate, and the like.

  • Patent number: 9296162
Abstract: The present invention solves glare of an embossed matte film of a conventional product produced and sold by the applicant of the present application, and provides a light diffusion film and the like having a surface shape of an irregular pattern that significantly suppresses the glare even when an LED light source is used and also maintains the good optical characteristics. The following is believed sufficient for maintaining good optical characteristics of an embossed matte film and also for solving the glare. To maintain the optical characteristics, the surface shape was defined by use of an inclination angle histogram profile of an embossed surface. In order to solve the glare, the size of unit patterns which make up an entire pattern and do not cause glare was defined by use of the value of the average length RSm of the roughness curve element of the embossed surface.
