  • Publication number: 20050139274
Abstract: A valve base module comprising a tank core passage extending through a non-vertical plane defined by a longitudinal axis and a non-vertical cross-section extending through a valve housing. The non-vertical plane is disposed at an offset angle a relative to a vertical plane to permits one or more of at least P, T, A, and B ports to connect a bottom surface to a top surface of the valve housing to form one or more of at least P?, T?, A?, and B? ports that permit additional modules to be mounted thereon, including, a pilot control module (including a pilot control valve assembly), thermal insulating module, power supply module, pressure reducing module (including a pressure reducing valve cartridge), diagnostic module (including a shuttle valve assembly), load sense module, position feedback sensor module, and manual override module, wherein the bottom surface conforms to a standard mounting pattern.

  • Publication number: 20040258754
Abstract: Pharmaceutical compositions are provided which comprise a lactone form of camptothecin, or a lactone form analog thereof that is effective for controlling abnormal cell proliferation; and at least one amphiphilic block copolymer that, upon oral administration to a patient, increases oral bioavailability of the lactone form significantly more than that of a directly related carboxylate form of the camptothecin or analog thereof. Compositions are also provided that further comprise at least one bioadhesive polymer that protects a closed alpha-hydroxy lactone structure of the lactone form of camptothecin or analog thereof, and provides a controlled release of the lactone form of camptothecin or lactone form analog thereof, in GI, upon oral administration to a patient. Methods are described for the prevention and/or treatment of a condition related to abnormal cell proliferation comprising orally administering to a patient in need of thereof an effective amount of a composition of the present invention.

  • Patent number: 5832504
Abstract: A system of creating enhanced reports from a computer database or programming language. The system will contain the basic data and some contextual information, which is the description of the type of information contained within the lists of the data file. The enhanced report generator will be sets of instructions which are loaded into the computer, each set of which will contain rules for formatting a report, based on the user inputs, the data, and the data's context. In the event that the context is not sufficient, additional contextual information will be loaded at the time that the enhanced report generator is loaded. The enhanced report generator will be loaded into the system in parallel with the standard report generator that is contained within the computer as a software application, and the user can select one, thus making the use of the enhanced reort generator transparent to the computer.

  • Patent number: 4186909
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved hydraulic control comprising a fail-to-neutral module. As is conventional, the hydraulic control comprises a main spool and a fluid flow path comprising a bridge circuit including a driver stage. The fail-to-neutral module comprises means defining a fail-to-neutral orifice which (a) is located in the fluid flow path upstream of the bridge circuit and (b) has a relatively large flow area but a maximum dimension smaller than the smallest orifice in the pilot stage. Preferably the means comprise a pin positioned through a hole, the pin and the hole both being circular in cross-section and coaxial, and the fail-to-neutral orifice is the clearance between the pin and the boundary of the hole.
