  • Patent number: 9070528
Abstract: An X-ray generator and an X-ray photographing apparatus including the X-ray generator generate characteristic X-rays. The X-ray generator includes an electron beam emission unit that emits electron beams; an electron beam guide unit, in which the electron beam emission unit is disposed, for condensing the electron beams and causing the electron beams to travel in a predetermined direction; and a target unit disposed to face the electron beam guide unit, and discharging X-rays when the electron beams collide with the target unit.

  • Publication number: 20140348301
Abstract: A method and apparatus of acquiring a plurality of focal spots for X-rays. The method includes radiating an electron beam from a cathode of a magnetic field generating apparatus toward a movable anode of the magnetic field generating apparatus, and irradiating a target with an X-ray that is produced from the radiated electron beam by the anode. The anode comprises an inclined side in which a part of the inclined side protrudes, and the plurality of focal spots for X-rays are acquired based on the radiated electron beam and the inclined side.

  • Patent number: 8861686
Abstract: An X-ray imaging system that generates a large amount of X-rays sufficient for X-ray imaging and collimates X-rays in a direction parallel to each other at high density. The X-ray imaging system includes an X-ray generating apparatus to generate and emit X-rays, a detector to detect the X-rays emitted from the X-ray generating apparatus, and at least one collimator disposed between the X-ray generating apparatus and the detector to prevent dispersion of the X-rays emitted from the X-ray generating apparatus.

  • Patent number: 7715529
Abstract: An X-ray tube is disclosed. The X-ray tube can include a cathode configured to emit electrons, an anode that has a surface arranged parallel to an emission direction of the electrons and is configured to collide with the electrons and emit X-rays, and a guide positioned between the cathode and the anode to modify the direction in which the electrons travel such that the electrons collide with the surface of the anode. The X-ray tube according to an embodiment of the invention can be used to improve the unevenness in X-ray intensity.
