  • Patent number: 7438536
Abstract: The present invention provides a compressor capable of supplying a lubricating oil stably to the refrigerant suction side of a compression section even if a lubricating oil is discharged into an oil storage chamber with great force. In this compressor, the oil storage chamber is provided so that two chambers of a first oil storage chamber and a second oil storage chamber communicate with each other, the lubricating oil discharged from a separation chamber is received by the first oil storage chamber, and the lubricating oil is supplied from the second oil storage chamber to the refrigerant suction side of the compression section. Therefore, even if the oil surface of the first oil storage chamber is disturbed by the force of the lubricating oil discharged from the separation chamber, the lubricating oil can always be supplied stably without hindrance to the supply of lubricating oil to the refrigerant suction side of the compression section.

  • Patent number: 7413422
Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided with a housing having a discharge chamber to which a high-pressure refrigerant is discharged from a scroll unit, a discharge path connecting the discharge chamber and an outlet port 78 of the housing, a separating device arranged in the discharge path and separating a part of the lubricating oil from the refrigerant, and a relief valve arranged in a downstream side of the separating device in the discharge path. When a pressure within the discharge path exceeds a relief pressure, the relief valve is opened so as to eject the refrigerant to an outer side of the compressor from the discharging path.

  • Patent number: 6755632
Abstract: A scroll-type compressor includes a housing including a suction chamber and a discharge chamber. The compressor also includes a fixed scroll including a first spiral element. Specifically, the fixed scroll is fixed to the housing, and a sealing member seals the fixed scroll and the housing. The compressor further includes an orbiting scroll including a second spiral element. Specifically, the orbiting scroll is positioned inside the suction chamber, and the first spiral element and the second spiral element interfit with each other to form a fluid pocket. Moreover, the compressor includes a driving mechanism for moving the orbiting scroll in an orbiting motion, a rotation prevention mechanism for preventing the orbiting scroll from rotating, and a first circumferential groove formed at a circumferential surface of the fixed scroll.

  • Patent number: 6672851
Abstract: A scroll-type compressor includes a fixed scroll member having a first spiral element, and an orbiting scroll member having a second spiral element. The first spiral element and the second spiral element interfit with each other at an angular offset and at a radial offset to form a plurality of fluid pockets which, are adapted to compress a fluid. Further, the first spiral element or the second spiral element, or both, include an interior wall surface defined by a first involute curve based on a circle, an exterior wall surface defined by a second involute curve based on the circle, an end wall surface formed at a center end of the spiral element by a first arc, and a fillet formed along a root of the end wall surface. Moreover, apportion of the fillet is formed by a second arc, and a line which is tangent to the circle and intersects the second involute curve includes a center of curvature of the first arc and a center of a curvature of the second arc.

Moreover, the compressor includes a driving mechanism for moving the orbiting scroll in an orbiting motion, a rotation prevention mechanism for preventing the orbiting scroll from rotating, and a communication path formed at a lower portion of the fixed scroll. Specifically, the communication path allows fluid communication between a lower portion of the discharge chamber and a lower portion of the suction chamber.

  • Patent number: 4676830
Abstract: A superior high-temperature strength aluminum alloy material is produced by consolidating rapdily solidified particulates of an aluminum alloy into a desired configuration, the aluminum alloy consisting of, in weight percentages, 4 to 15% Fe, and 0.5 to 8% V and the balance being essentially aluminum. The aluminum alloy may further contain at least one element selected from the group consisting of 0.5 to 8% Mo, 0.5 to 8% Ni, 0.3 to 8% Zr and 0.5 to 8% Ti and these additional components develop a further increased strength in the resulting formed materials. Since the consolidated aluminum materials above specified have a superior strength at high temperatures as well as moderate temperature without an expensive Ce, they are highly useful as economical heat-resistant materials for various applications, particularly for the fields where high strength at high temperatures and lightness of weight are required.
