  • Patent number: 9459284
Abstract: At least two needles (11, 12) are inserted from the surface of an outer covering film (200) such that the needles reach metal foils (252, 262) in the outer covering film (200), and the electrical connection state with an object inside of a structure covered with the outer covering film (200) is inspected. The electrical connection state is more reliably inspected.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 4, 2013
Date of Patent: October 4, 2016
    Assignee: AUTOMOTIVE ENERGY SUPPLY CORPORATION
Inventors: Yuta Motohashi, Keisho Ishibashi, Kiyohide Takimoto, Masatomo Mizuta, Takuya Takatsuka

  • Patent number: 7150936
Abstract: The present invention provides a sealed battery, in which leakage can be detected in reliable manner, a method for manufacturing the sealed battery, and a method for detecting leakage of the sealed battery. The invention provides a sealed battery containing helium, a method for manufacturing the sealed battery, and a method for detecting leakage. From inside a battery case sealed except an electrolyte inlet, the air is withdrawn, and pressure is applied by a gas containing helium under pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure through the electrolyte inlet. The electrolyte is injected, and after the electrolyte and the gas containing helium have been injected, the electrolyte inlet is sealed.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 19, 2003
Date of Patent: December 19, 2006
    Assignee: NEC Tokin Tochigi, Ltd.
Inventors: Kazuyuki Tukawaki, Kiyohide Takimoto, Hiroyuki Mizuno, Yuichi Maekawa
  • Patent number: 6706440
Abstract: The present invention provides a liquid injection apparatus for injecting liquid into a container, comprising an injection chamber, a container for a liquid to be injected and entirely sealed except an injection port is placed in the injection chamber with the injection port directed to the bottom, an injection cell comprising at least one unit injection cell to accommodate the liquid to be injected is installed in the injection chamber, there is provided pressure regulating means to reduce the pressure in the injection chamber and to regulate pressure in the injection chamber to the atmospheric pressure or to a level higher than the atmospheric pressure, the pressure in the injection chamber is reduced to a level lower than the atmospheric pressure by the pressure regulating means at least once, and then, by maintaining the atmospheric pressure or the pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure, the liquid is injected through the injection port.
