  • Publication number: 20210040594
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a metal member, includes shaping a metal member configured of Ni-based alloy by an additive manufacturing; and carrying a solution treatment to the metal member. In the solution treatment, a heat treatment is carried out at a temperature in a temperature range of (TC?100)° C. to (TC?50)° C. (TC is a solid solution temperature of Ni-based alloy). In this way, a creep characteristic and a low cycle fatigue characteristic have been secured sufficient in the metal member shaped by the additive manufacturing.

  • Patent number: 5798590
Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-degree-of-freedom electric motor having a spherical rotor which is able to obtain a uniform torque and which achieves a fine and smooth rotational control. A plurality of projections consisting of magnetic material are disposed on surface of spherical rotor and a spherical stator is disposed with a predetermined space therefrom. Electromagnets are buried in the surface of the stator with predetermined intervals. The spherical rotor is caused to float in a non-contact state by gas jetted from spherical static pressure bearing via gas cylinder and pressure pipe. By the controller of the present invention, electromagnets of the stator are excited to a desired position in .alpha./.beta./.gamma. directions of orthogonal coordinates, and upon action with the projections, the spherical rotor is rotated to the position.

  • Patent number: 5542762
Abstract: An agitator includes a multi-freedom electric motor having a broad operational range. The electric motor includes a spherical rotor, a plurality of magnets disposed on an outer surface of the rotor with polarities of the respective adjacent magnetic poles being different from one another, a stator provided along the outer surface of the rotor, and a plurality of magnets opposed to the magnets disposed on an inner surface of the stator. The rotor is supported by a spherical bearing provided on the stator. Either the magnets on the rotor or the magnets on the stator are electromagnets. Electric currents are supplied to the electromagnets as controlled by a controller. In one form of the agitator, the electric motor is disposed at the bottom of a container and the bottom end of a screw is connected to the spherical rotor of the motor. The top end of the screw is supported by an arm pivotably mounted to the container.

  • Patent number: 5476018
Abstract: A multi-freedom electric motor has a broad operational range and a wide space for accommodating an article. Electric current are supplied to the electromagnets as controlled by a controller. The multi-freedom electric motor can be employed in a space stabilizer for maintaining the spherical attitude of an article, a control moment gyro for performing an attitude control in space, and an agitating apparatus.
