  • Publication number: 20060261272
Abstract: An imaging system for use in a vehicle includes an imaging unit having a lens for imaging a state of affairs and a rotation mechanism for defining a state of the lens of the imaging unit. The rotation mechanism is operated to be either in a first position or in a second position. That is, the first position of the rotation mechanism arranges the lens in a state of separation from a room in the vehicle, and the second position of the rotation mechanism arranges the lens in a state of exposure to the room in the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20060198626
Abstract: An imaging device for use in a vehicle includes an imaging unit having a lens for imaging a state of affairs and an exposure control unit for controlling exposure of the imaging by the imaging unit. The imaging unit images substantially a whole perspective in the vehicle including at least portions of windows on lateral sides of the vehicle. The exposure control unit uses brightness of an area in a predetermined frame of an image taken by the imaging unit for determining the exposure of the imaging, and the area in the predetermined frame in the image is set to be positioned at a proximity of a target area of the imaging.

  • Publication number: 20060181795
Abstract: A numerical aperture controlling filter, including: a first region that allows, when a laser beam having a different wavelength is incident on the numerical aperture controlling filter, a transmission of laser beams having all the wavelengths; and a second region that blocks a transmission of a laser beam having a predefined wavelength, wherein: different materials are used for outermost layers of a first optical thin film that is formed in the first region and a second optical thin film that is formed in the second region; and an optical path length of either of the first optical thin film or the second optical thin film is adjusted by means of etching after depositing the first optical thin film and the second optical thin film.

  • Patent number: 6078046
Abstract: In an apparatus for measuring an intensity of an electron beam, the electron beam is made incident a fluorescent screen and a part of the incident electron beam is converted into an optical image, and the optical image formed on the fluorescent screen is picked-up by a television camera by a reflection mirror having a central hole and being inclined with respect to a direction into which the optical image is made incident upon the reflection mirror. A part of the electron beam transmitted through the fluorescent screen and passing through the central hole of the reflection mirror is made incident upon a Faraday case, which generates an electric current representing an intensity of the electron beam impinging upon the fluorescent screen.

  • Patent number: 5982295
Abstract: A controller drives a key interlock solenoid to lock a key so that the key cannot be pulled out of a key cylinder when a shift lever is not at a parking position or while an identification code is being sent to a transponder mounted in the key. Thus, the key cannot be pulled out of the key cylinder during the writing of the identification code in the transponder.

  • Patent number: 5835010
Abstract: The power feeding efficiency and the communicable range of an automatic answering system are improved in an automatic answering system using a transponder which performs code communication using amplitude modulation of a carrier with an electromagnetic coupling transponder mounted in a key or the like. In a transceiver for performing the code communication with the transponder via an antenna coil, a circuit for driving the antenna coil in a transceiver based on clock is implemented by a bridge-type complementary circuit of transistors. Thereby, driving current is increased. Meanwhile, a circuit for controlling the driving mode based on a write signal is implemented by a parallel circuit of a transistor to which a power-supply voltage is applied and a resistor. Thereby, a current corresponding to a resistance of the resistor flows through the antenna coil even during the minimum driving when the transistor is turned off, thus improving the power feeding efficiency and the communicable range of the system.

  • Patent number: 4516101
Abstract: A air-flow-rate sensor having a thermo-magnetically operated switch including a U-shaped temperature sensitive ferromagnetic piece, a positive temperature characteristic thermister, and two terminal plates, which are stationarily mounted in an opening chamber of an insulator frame. The two terminal plates are for connecting the thermister to an external electric power source and are in contact with respective input electrodes on opposite surfaces of the thermister. One of the two terminal plates is formed in a generally arcuate form to elastically press the other terminal plate onto the ferromagnetic piece through the thermister. The thermo-magnetically operated switch is fixedly mounted on the frame by fitting its opposite terminals into grooves formed in the inner wall of the frame. Each terminal plate is also fixed to the frame by fitting both ends into another grooves formed in the inner wall of the frame.
