Abstract: In a navigation device or method, it is determined that an icon is selected by a touch at two points on a screen. It is further determined that the two touched points are moved in opposite directions with reference to the icon at a certain position where the selected icon is moved to. Subsequently, when it is detected that the touch at the two touched points is cancelled (removed), a function associated with the icon is executed with respect to the certain position.
