  • Publication number: 20120236469
Abstract: A capacitor includes: a capacitor element; an electrolyte impregnated into at least the capacitor element; a bottomed cylindrical metal case accommodating the capacitor element and the electrolyte; and a sealing body sealing an opening portion of the case. Further, the capacitor also includes a coating layer provided at a portion in contact with the outer surface of the sealing body and formed by dispersing, into resin, an adsorbent adsorbing a solvent included in the electrolyte. Alternatively, the sealing body is formed by dispersing the above-described adsorbent in a rubber component.

  • Patent number: 6985353
Abstract: A solid electrolytic capacitor having a lowered leakage current characteristic and an improved ESR characteristic; which has been implemented by decreasing the defects contained in the dielectric film of the anode body. It includes a valve metal foil which makes anode and a sintered layer provided on the upper and lower surfaces of the valve metal foil, which sintered layer covering the entire surface of side faces of valve metal foil in three directions with exception of the anode lead portion. A flat plane area of valve metal foil, which makes anode, covered with sintered layer is not less than one half of the flat plane area of sintered layer.

  • Patent number: 6522527
Abstract: The anode member for a solid electrolytic capacitor according to the present invention comprises an anode body made of a valve metal foil having a purity of not less than 99 wt %, and an anode layer formed on the anode body and made of a sintered body of a valve metal powder. By limiting the amount of impurity contained in the valve metal foil to an amount of not more than 1 wt %, impurities in a dielectric oxide film formed by anodic oxidation, namely defects in the dielectric oxide film can be suppressed, so that the resultant solid electrolytic capacitor can have its leakage current lowered with its ESR (equivalent series resistance) being kept low, and that the electrolytic capacitor can be made to have a smaller size and a higher capacitance. The present invention also provides an electrolytic capacitor having a low leakage current, a low ESR, a small size and a high capacitance by using the above novel anode member as well as a method of making the same.

  • Patent number: 4962314
Abstract: An image transfer apparatus for transferring an image on an image sheet to an image-receiving sheet, while the image sheet and the image-receiving sheet are held in a superposed condition, comprises a working station for placing the image sheet and the image-receiving sheet one above the other on a support member to make up a transported sheet assembly, a tacking station for tentatively occuring the image sheet and the image-receiving sheet of the transported sheet assembly together, a transfer station for applying pressure and heat to the transported sheet assembly tentatively secured, and a feed mechanism for feeding the transported sheet assembly through the working station, the tacking station and the transfer station in sequence. Accordingly, the transported sheet assembly is fed automatically by the feed mechanism from the working station through the tacking station and the transfer station in sequence.
