  • Publication number: 20100164975
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a picture signal processing device comprises a histogram detection module configured to detect a histogram related to luminance from a picture signal for each frame, a change amount calculation module configured to discriminate a luminance component with a level larger than a defined level from the histogram for each frame to calculate a luminance change amount for each frame, and a display control module configured to discriminate a period in which the luminance change amount exceeds a threshold, specify at least the period as a flashing screen, suppress display luminance of the picture signal, grasps which of luminance components is most densely distributed for each frame by the histogram detection module, and detects the flushing screens with high precision on the basis of the grasped information on the distribution.

  • Patent number: 7689319
Abstract: A communication robot control system displays a selection input screen for supporting input of actions of a communication robot. The selection input screen displays in a user-selectable manner a list of a plurality of behaviors including not only spontaneous actions but also reactive motions (reflex behaviors) in response to behavior of a person as a communication partner, and a list of emotional expressions to be added to the behaviors. According to a user's operation, the behavior and the emotional expression to be performed by the communication robot are selected and decided. Then, reproductive motion information for interactive actions including reactive motions and emotional interactive actions, is generated based on input history of the behavior and the emotional expression.

  • Publication number: 20080143882
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a video signal processing device includes a set-up level detecting unit that detects a set-up level of an input video signal, a set-up level correcting unit that corrects the set-up level of the input video signal, and a histogram detecting unit that detects a histogram corresponding to a brightness of a video signal output from the set-up level correcting unit.

  • Patent number: 5605518
Abstract: A planetary gear device includes a sun gear, planet gears to be meshed with the sun gear and an internal gear to be meshed with the planet gears each having a tooth profile formed to an involute curve, wherein tooth surfaces on one side of the planet gears meshing with the sun gear and tooth surfaces on the other side of the planet gears meshing with the internal gear are respectively corrected by different amounts of correction on the basis of deformation amounts of teeth of the planet gears caused by meshes with the sun gear and the internal gear so that rotary motion can be smoothly transmitted when the tooth faces of the planet gears meshed with the sun gear and the tooth faces of the planet gears meshed with the internal gear are elastically deformed by the mesh thereof.
