  • Patent number: 5862056
Abstract: A numerical control machining apparatus, having a section for reading out and analyzing machining programs from a storage section to control the axis drive section of a machine tool, also can display the quantity and direction of movement for each axis on a display section. The axis movement is identified by symbols that reflect a pre-set correspondence between the direction of movement instruction to each axis of the machine tool and the direction of the actual movement of each axis of the machine tool seen by an operator. That correspondence is stored beforehand when an operator inputs instructions for the various movements of the axes and the operator examines the machine's response and identifies a symbol that corresponds to that response, such as an arrow whose orientation corresponds to an observed movement direction.

  • Patent number: 5068585
Abstract: A numerical control device capable of controlling the drive of a plurality of objects to be controlled in a parallel mode. With a numerical control device, machining programs for the objects which should be executed in parallel, are able to being displayed or printed in a parallel mode so that the parallel driving condition can be detected visually. Further, the machining program is suspended to be listed in response to a queuing instruction as an empty block, so that the queuing instructions for the plural objects are arranged in the same line thus printed or displayed.

  • Patent number: 4888534
Abstract: A numerical control can be performed on one or more independently controllable objects on the basis of existence of such objects and the control itself is performed selectively on the axis and other objects which are not axes. Therefore, it is possible to control one to all of various objects which are to be operated simultaneously independently, by means of a single numerical control apparatus. Thus, a plurality of objects can be controlled independently from other objects, resulting in high producibility of products.

  • Patent number: 4631684
Abstract: A machine tool with multiple spindles and tool supports operable independently and simultaneously under independent working programs is provided with a tool support synchronizing system to produce synchronized operation of plural tool supports. Each of the working programs produces as a special synchronizing command a predetermined single character or symbol. Control circuits which control the shifting of a respective tool support in response to commands from a respective working program are synchronized with one another in response to the receipt of the special synchronizing command received from the working programs.
