  • Patent number: 8138693
Abstract: A computing unit simulates an ideal operation of a vibration excitation actuator by using at least a model operation parameter and the vibration-excitation movable mass data and calculates a parameter corresponding to acceleration/deceleration thrust for moving the vibration-excitation movable mass. A vibration isolation controller determines a control content of a vibration isolation driving unit based on the parameter corresponding to the acceleration/deceleration thrust and controls an operation of the vibration isolation driving unit so that a force canceling a reaction force, which acts on an apparatus when a vibration-excitation movable mass is moved, acts on the apparatus by moving the vibration isolation movable unit.

  • Publication number: 20120035771
Abstract: A positive & negative jerk interval parameter setting section divides an acceleration & deceleration interval of an acceleration command curve into an acceleration increasing interval, a constant acceleration interval, and an acceleration decreasing interval, and sets the length of time of each interval independently of each other. A positive & negative jerk interval trigonometric command generating section employs an acceleration command curve generated based on a trigonometric function of a ½ cycle, thereby generating a position command or a speed command.

  • Publication number: 20110035028
Abstract: A residual-velocity calculating unit calculates a residual velocity that corresponds to a velocity increment when an acceleration is reduced from a current command acceleration to zero according to an acceleration reduction curve. A differential-velocity calculating unit calculates a differential velocity vs=v0-vn, which is a difference between a target velocity v0 and a current velocity command for every command generation period. An acceleration-reduction-start-timing determining unit compares the residual velocity to the differential velocity for determining whether acceleration reduction starts. When a condition that the residual velocity is equal to or larger than the differential velocity is satisfied, the acceleration-reduction-start-timing determining unit determines the start of the acceleration reduction and starts to reduce the command acceleration according to the acceleration reduction curve generated by the command generating unit.

  • Patent number: 5758382
Abstract: An interdental toothbrush handle for holding a twisted wire brush includes a handle with a locking retainer connected thereto by a living hinge. The handle has two opposing side walls which extend perpendicularly from the handle and are adjacent to the living hinge. At least one of the walls includes a V-shaped gap for receiving the stem of a twisted wire brush. The handle also preferably has an indentation between the two opposing side walls and the locking retainer preferably includes a protrusion in communication with the indentation. A nub on the protrusion prevents the locking retainer from opening more than about 30.degree. to 40.degree.. The stem of a twisted wire brush is inserted into the V-shaped gap when the locking retainer is open. As the locking retainer is closed, the stem of the twisted wire brush is captured between the handle and locking retainer.

  • Patent number: 5193559
Abstract: A dental cleaning instrument for cleaning the interproximal area between teeth is constructed with three threads of yarn. The first thread is initially supported on a first post and a second thread of yarn is supported on a second post. The third thread is wound on a bobbin and then interlaced around and between the first and second threads in a figure-8 pattern, while the first and second threads are simultaneously advanced in a direction normal to the plane in which the bobbin is moving. The resulting instrument consists of woven threads having a combined denier in the range of 480-1240, with superior spreadability and separation of ends.
