  • Publication number: 20040206651
Abstract: Disclosed is a wet sheet container for housing a sheet roll that is a wet sheet wound in the form of a roll. A container body is formed with a storage space into which the sheet roll is to be inserted. The container body is separable into two or more parts so that separation of the container body allows insertion of the sheet roll into the storage space. A shaft is located inside the container body so as to be inserted into a center hole of the sheet roll. The shaft defines a support space which extends along an axial direction thereof and communicates with the outside of the container body.

  • Patent number: 6557454
Abstract: A piston for use in a fluid displacement apparatus includes a head portion and a connecting portion. The head portion has a cylindrical shape and a hollow structure. The head portion comprises an end portion and a cylindrical portion. The end portion fixedly connected to the cylindrical portion. The connecting portion extends from an end surface of the cylindrical portion and couples the piston with a moving source. A pair of apertures are formed through the end surface of the cylindrical portion adjacent to connecting portion. A rib is formed between the pair of apertures. The strength of a circumference portion of the apertures may be increased by the rib. As a result, when the fluid displacement apparatus is operated under a high load, the occurrence of cracks at the circumference portion(s) of the aperture(s) may be reduced or eliminated.

  • Patent number: 6378417
Abstract: A swash plate compressor includes a cylinder block having therein several cylinder bores and a crank chamber. A drive shaft is rotatably supported in the cylinder block. Each of several pistons is slidably disposed within one of the cylinder bores. A swash plate is disposed in the crank chamber and is tiltably secured to the drive shaft. A bearing couples the swash plate to each of the pistons, so that the pistons are driven in a reciprocating motion within the cylinder bores. Several stepped, chamferred portions are formed in succession on an opening edge of each of the cylinder bores. The structure for the swash plate compressor according to this invention reduce or eliminates damage of the outer surface of pistons without increasing the weight of the swash plate compressor.

  • Patent number: 6350106
Abstract: A valuable displacement compressor has several cylinder bores, a crank chamber, a valve plate, a discharge chamber, and a capacity control mechanism for controlling pressure in the crank chamber. A swash plate is disposed in the crank chamber and is tiltably connected to a drive shaft. The swash plate is coupled to each of the pistons, so that the pistons are driven in a reciprocating motion within the cylinder bores. A tilt angle of the swash plate is variable depending on pressure in the crank chamber. A gas passage communicates between the crank chamber and the discharge chamber via the capacity control mechanism, which is disposed along with a line extension of the drive shaft. A first end portion of the capaity control mechanism projects into the discharge chamber and has a screw mechanism.
