  • Patent number: 7215853
Abstract: A collimator 111 for an input light, a collimator 112 for an output light, a collimator 113 for a branched light, a collimator 114 for an inserted light and a wavelength selecting filter 115 are provided on a common substrate 130, and mirrors 121 to 124 for correcting an optical path or prisms XXXX to XXXX capable of producing the same advantages are provided on the optical paths between the collimators 111 to 114 and the wavelength selecting filter 115 respectively. By adjusting the mirrors or prisms, the shift of the optical axis between the collimators is corrected.

  • Patent number: 6824571
Abstract: After coating a hydrogen absorbing alloy slurry obtained by kneading a hydrogen absorbing alloy powder 12a, a polyethylene oxide (PEO) powder as a binder 12b, and a suitable amount of water (a solvent for binder) to both surfaces of a metal core plate (active material holder) made of a punching metal, the core plate is dried. Then, after removing the active material layer 13 from the core plate 11 by a means such as cutting and the like, a definite amount of water (a solvent for binder) is sprayed to the cut surface (the exposed surface of the core plate 11) to attach the water to the cur surface followed by drying to provide a hydrogen absorbing alloy electrode 10, which is disposed at the outermost side of the electrode group.

  • Patent number: 4619080
Abstract: A roll grinding apparatus which includes a housing adjoining a roll to be ground, guides attached to the housing which extend perpendicularly to the axis of the roll, a frame attached to the housing which is reciprocated along the guides, a piston and linkage for reciprocating the frame, inclined guides extending along the roll axis and inclined toward one end of the frame, a casing having a plurality of guide holes facing the roll and traversably mounted on the inclined guides, a cylinder and piston for reciprocating the casing laterally, a grindstone holder reciprocatively fitted in each of the guide holes, a rectangular grindstone held at the tip of the grindstone holder, and a double acting cylinder reciprocating each grindstone holder. In grinding a roll, the grindstone holder is moved out of the casing to press the grindstone against the roll surface. At the same time, the cylinder and piston for reciprocating the casing is actuated to reciprocate the casing along the inclined guides.

  • Patent number: 4450616
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method of insuring the tightness of a fastener including forming a three-dimensional annular member in an austenite phase using a press, cooling the annular member to a temperature lower than the temperature for starting an austenite transformation, fastening the fastener with the annular member to flatten the annular member, and returning the temperature of the annular member to a higher than austenite temperature so that the recovery power of the annular member for returning the annular member to the three-dimensional shape in the austenite phase generates a fastening force for the fastener.

  • Patent number: 4363725
Abstract: An apparatus for removing stone and gravel from excavated soil by vibration. The apparatus is particularly useful for operation at the foot of a volcano, mountainous district or the like. Characteristic features of the apparatus are that it is self-propelled by means of endless tracks and the excavated soil is separated into stone, gravel and soil with the aid of a sieving means and the separated stone and gravel are discharged from the apparatus by way of a conveyor, while the separated fine soil is conveyed by way of another conveyor and then is scattered rearward by means of a scattering device to be piled up on the working ground.
