  • Publication number: 20070071513
Abstract: A fixing apparatus includes a fixing member to be heated and a pressure-contacting member for pressure contacting the fixing member. The fixing apparatus directs and conveys a recording member through a nip formed between the fixing member and pressure applying member in such a manner that a toner image carried on a recording member contacts the fixing member in order to be fixed thereto with heat and pressure. The fixing apparatus is configured to direct a tip margin of the recording member toward the pressure applying member across a virtual linear extension line drawn from a downstream end to upstream end of the nip when only the tip margin exits from the nip. A fixing member side separation device may be separately provided from the surface of the fixing apparatus so as to separate the recording member exiting from the nip. A gap formed between the downstream end of the nip and the tip of the fixing member side separation device is set smaller than the width of the tip margin.

  • Patent number: 6537423
Abstract: Optical disc manufacturing apparatus of the present invention comprises a nozzle for ejecting TV curable cationic composition, ultraviolet radiation means for radiating ultraviolet rays while the UV curable cationic composition dropping from the nozzle reaches a disc substrate; and superimposing means for superimposing the two disc substrates one upon another by allowing planes onto which the UV curable cationic composition is dropped to be faced. To allow the UV curable cationic composition to spread between the two disc substrates superimposed by the superimposing means: a statically placing plane for placing the disc should be provided. A stacking means for stacking the plurality of discs and rigid disc placing means for placing a rigid disc having a flat plane on the disc in the course of stacking the plurality of discs should be provided.

  • Patent number: 6406770
Abstract: Ultraviolet rays are irradiated in a space through which a cationic ultraviolet curable composition falling from a nozzle passes before reaching a disc substrate. The cationic ultraviolet curable composition which has been irradiated with ultraviolet rays, is distributed in a ring form on the surface of the disc substrate. Another disc substrate is then superposed in this distributed surface to spread the composition by pressing or by the weight of the other disc substrate itself.

  • Patent number: 5664295
Abstract: A hose clamp includes a clamping main body and a fixing member. The clamping main body is formed as a circled-strip having opposite free ends so as to be capable of exhibiting an urging force for reducing its diameter, and clamps a hose member having a concavity at an end thereof. The fixing member is engaged with the opposite free ends of the clamping main body so as to inhibit the diameter of the clamping main body from reducing, and includes a projection extending at least in one of axial directions of the hose member, and being capable of engaging with the concavity of the hose member so as to position the clamping main body in a direction around the axis of the hose member. Thus, in a direction around the axis of the hose member, the clamping main body is positioned by the projection of the fixing member which is disposed independently of the clamping main body. Accordingly, even when the diameter of the hose member is varied, the width, thickness, etc.
