  • Patent number: 4752151
Abstract: According to the invention, a coupling device for a force transmitting member is provided. The coupling device contains a plurality of force transmitting members and a joint for coupling each end of the force transmitting members. A hardened body of a cement composition having a compressive modulus of elasticity of not less than 2.0.times.10.sup.5 kg/cm.sup.2 and a compressive strength of not less than 700 kg/cm.sup.2 is being filled at least in-between the force transmitting members and the joint.

  • Patent number: 4702745
Abstract: A high moisture porous organic solid is dewatered by the steps of (1) heating the high moisture porous organic solid in a fluid medium having an elevated temperature and a high pressure, thereby reducing the moisture of the solid, (2) starting to compress the porous structure of the solid by mechanical means, while maintaining the temperature and the pressure of the surrounding fluid medium the same as in the final stage of step (1), and (3) lowering the pressure of the surrounding fluid medium while maintaining the mechanical compression of the solid, whereby the quality of the porous solid, such as apparent density and calorific values of moist solid per weight as well as per volume are considerably improved.

  • Patent number: 4540116
Abstract: A bottom structure of a paper box for storage of liquid which includes four bottom panels connected to four side panels, respectively, each of the side panels being connected to an adjacent side panel along first folding lines, the bottom panels being connected to the side panels along second folding lines. The bottom panels are interconnected by third folding lines wherein the difference between a length of respective adjacent third folding lines of the second and fourth bottom panels is at least 10 mm and the cut-edge of the first bottom panel is parallel to at least one of the second folding lines.

  • Patent number: 4113168
Abstract: A bottom structure for a cardboard liquid packing container wherein the corners of the bottom structure are trebly laminated without exterior leakage paths, the central exterior portions of one pair of opposing bottom sheets are quadruply laminated, and the end portions of the other pair of opposing bottom sheets are doubly laminated at the central portion of the bottom structure, the various laminated portions being heat sealed to economically produce a highly stable and leak-proof upright container.
