Patent number: 7210214Abstract: A method of insulating the proximal portions of the coil edges of the stator. The insulation sheet has a folding portion for folding one or more coils of the same phase and two insertion portions extending from the folding portion so that distal ends are positioned away from a centerline of the folding portion. One or more coils of the same phase are folded by the folding portion and the two inserting portions are inserted into the slot or slots from which the one or more coils project. The inserting portions are drawn from inside of the stator core so that the folding portion spreads to fold the proximal portions of the coils. The inserting portions are securely held between the wall of the slots and the coils to prevent the insulation sheet from displacement, inclination and slip off to securely insulate the coils of different phases.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2005Date of Patent: May 1, 2007Assignee: Fanuc LtdInventors: Kiyoshi Tagami, Yukio Katsuzawa, Michi Masuya, Hideki Oka, Masamoto Fukuda

Patent number: 6640421Abstract: Wedge guides 12 for holding a wedge 11 are mounted onto a base 10, and a stripper 15 is fixed to the other end of the wedge guide 12. A blade holder 13 including a plurality of blades 16 vertically installed is held in such a manner as to be freely advanceable and retractable in an up-and-down direction. A coil 30 wound is inserted between the blades 16, and alignment tool 7 is inserted at the tip ends of the blades. A stator iron core 40 is inserted into the alignment tool 7, and the stator iron core 40 is moved until the tip ends of the blades 16 penetrate the stator iron core 40. Thereafter, the stator iron core 40 and a connecting rod 19, the other end of which being connected to the blade holder 13, are pushed by a stator pusher 50, whereby the blade holder 13 is also caused to move together with the stator iron core 40 to insert the coil 30 into grooves in the stator iron core 40.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 2001Date of Patent: November 4, 2003Assignee: Fanuc Ltd.Inventors: Yukio Katsuzawa, Michi Masuya, Kiyoshi Tagami, Hideki Oka

Patent number: 5200662Abstract: The present invention relates to a joint structure of a rotor (12) and an output shaft (10) in a synchronous motor, the rotor having an alternate circumferential arrangement of rotor cores (16) and magnets (14). A molding resin (24) is filled and hardened in the gap between the inner circumference of the rotor (12) and the surface of the output shaft (10) so that the components (10, 12) are fixedly jointed together with a high reliability and thus the rigidity of the output shaft (10) is enhanced.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 1990Date of Patent: April 6, 1993Assignee: Fanuc Ltd.Inventors: Kiyoshi Tagami, Hiroyuki Uchida

Patent number: 5063295Abstract: When a shape of each increment type slit group is a rectangle in a pulse encoder having a plurality of absolute type slits (24, 26, 28, 30) and a plurality of increment type slit groups (14, 16, 18, 20), the plurality of increment type slit groups and the plurality of absolute type slits cannot be irradiated by a single light emitting diode (46). To solve this problem, each increment type slit group is formed in a fan shape and disposed radially around an optical axis (13) of the single light emitting diode (46), so that the absolute type slits (24, 26, 28, 30) can be disposed at the remaining portion of a region (12) irradiated by the single light emitting diode (46). Consequently, a low cost compact pulse encoder can be provided.Type: GrantFiled: December 26, 1989Date of Patent: November 5, 1991Assignee: Fanuc Ltd.Inventors: Eiki Asaba, Yoshihito Tanabe, Kiyoshi Tagami

Patent number: 4697114Abstract: A permanent magnet rotor assembly has a rotor shaft (11), and a plurality of yokes (12) extended along the axis of the rotor shaft at circumferential intervals around the rotor shaft. Permanent magnets (13) extended along the axis of the rotor shaft are held between two adjacent yokes. A pair of end plates (14, 15) attached to the axially opposite ends of the yokes are formed of a nonmagnetic material. Bosses (14a, 15a) fitting the outer circumference of the rotor shaft are formed in the respective central portions of the end plates. The bosses of the end plates are secured to the outer circumference of the rotor shaft by the compressive force of fastening rings (18, 19) mounted on the bosses by thermal shrinkage insertion.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 1986Date of Patent: September 29, 1987Assignee: Fanuc Ltd.Inventors: Yoichi Amemiya, Masatoyo Sogabe, Kiyoshi Tagami
