Abstract: A rule evaluation unit classifies users into users of fixed PC allocation and users of dynamic allocation according to the user utilization characteristic and stores the classification result in a user classification table. When a user makes a PC utilization request, a PC allocation unit allocates a predetermined PC to a user of fixed PC allocation and allocates an empty PC in the PC pool to a user of dynamic allocation. Moreover, a volume rearrangement unit executes volume migration so as to equalize the I/O performance of the physical disks in the storage device according to the user utilization characteristic.

Abstract: In a method for supporting the design of a plurality of programs distributed on a network and operated through the communication between the programs, each program is defined, a relation between programs is defined, interface information of each program is defined, and the interface defined for each program is converted into an interface definition language (IDL) format to generate an IDL file. The definition of each program and the definition of the relation between programs are performed by providing a graphic display screen to which a program represented by a symbol and a relation between programs represented by an arrow are inputted as definition information by a user. The definition of interface information is performed by inputting information defined by the user in an interactive manner.

Abstract: A method of cleaning under high temperature and high pressure and cleaning equipment to be used in a cleaning process now being employed in such industrial fields as the electronics industry centering around the semiconductor industry and the optical machine industry. The high temperature/high pressure cleaning equipment has at least a compressing pump, a heating device, a nozzle, and piping, and, in the cleaning equipment to inject high temperature/high pressure water from a nozzle to the matter to be cleaned, functions to inject high temperature/high pressure ultrapure water from the nozzle to the matter to be cleaned. Cleaning is carried out by injecting ultrapure water having a relative resistance of 17.0 M/l-cm or more when converted at 25.degree. C. to a matter to be cleaned.
