The liquid-crystal display module includes the liquid-crystal panel and a polarizing plate. The holder holds a back light that is glued to a back surface of the liquid-crystal display module. The exterior panel surrounds a periphery of the liquid-crystal display module. The fixing part fixes the holder and the exterior panel to each other in a part where a straight line and a periphery portion of the holder intersect with each other, the straight line extending in a direction that is different from a light-transmission-axis direction of the polarizing plate.

The second adhesive glues a rim portion of the back surface of the display panel and the housed member together. The protrusion is located on a portion of one of the housed member and the display panel, and protrudes toward the other of the housed member and the display panel. The portion corresponds to a location of the second adhesive on the other.
