  • Patent number: 9977230
Abstract: A microscope system includes a virtual-slide microscope that acquires a virtual-slide image of a specimen when mounted on a first stage, and a fluorescence microscope that acquires a fluorescence image of the specimen when mounted on a second stage. The virtual-slide microscope includes a display and an image-capturing-condition setting portion that sets image capturing conditions, including a fluorescence-image acquisition position, on the virtual-slide image. The fluorescence microscope includes a memory portion that stores coordinate transformation data between the coordinates of the specimen when fixed on the first stage and the coordinates of the specimen when fixed on the second stage, a condition input portion to which the image capturing conditions are input, and a driving-condition setting portion that sets a driving condition on the basis of the image capturing conditions and the coordinate transformation data.

  • Patent number: 7250963
Abstract: The microscopic image capture apparatus includes: a slide glass transfer unit 17 transfers a slide glass 10 from a first slide glass storage unit 16 to a space under a microscope objective lens 11; a wide field-of-view image capture unit 60 captures the entire image of wide field-of-view of the slide glass 10 in synchronization with the transfer of the slide glass 10 by the slide glass transfer unit 17; a microscopic image capture unit 14 captures a microscopic image of the sample S on the slide glass 10 whose entire image of wide field-of-view has been captured by the wide field-of-view image capture unit 60; and a slide glass storage unit 18 stores the slide glass 10 whose sample S has been captured by the microscopic image capture unit 14 from the observation position of the microscope 11 into the second slide glass tray unit 19.

  • Publication number: 20040105000
Abstract: A microscopic image capture apparatus extracts an area including a sample image from an image obtained by capturing the entire sample, sets a plurality of horizontal positions for acquisition of a height coordinate Z from the extracted sample image area, reads a height coordinate which is a focal point position at the set horizontal position, computes an adjusted position of a focal point in an arbitrary position in the sample image area using the read height coordinate data, and transfers the height of a sample to the adjusted focal position as computed above when the sample is horizontally traveled.

  • Patent number: 6624931
Abstract: A microscope body has at least one observation unit and is capable of being operated by respective controller corresponding to this observation unit. An operation unit determines the operation instruction for the respective controller. An operation switch detecting unit detects an operation of the operation unit and informs the detected operation to the exterior of the microscope body. An outer control device has a storage unit, in which first operational instructing information for the respective controller is registered, and identifies the operational instructing information corresponding to a detected result from the operation switch detecting unit with reference to the storage unit. An observation unit control section converts the operational instructing information which is identified by the outer control device, into operation instructing commands for the observation unit and gives the operation instructing commands to the respective controller.
