  • Patent number: 8300363
Abstract: A wiring structure of a flexure includes wiring that includes a trace of first polarity and a trace of second polarity and transmits signals to and from a head that is supported with the flexure and writes and reads data to and from a recording medium and an interleaved section formed at least partly in the wiring where the traces are each divided into sub-traces, the sub-traces being alternated in a width direction of the wiring, the sub-traces of each trace being connected to each other on each side of the interleaved section, an outer one of the sub-traces of each trace being narrower than an inner one of the same. The wiring structure reduces partial dips in the frequency characteristic of signal transmission loss (loss-to-frequency characteristic) of the wiring at the interleaved section.

  • Patent number: 8297516
Abstract: Without using a component such as a chip coil, a winding pattern is formed with a wire with which a main wiring pattern is formed. This enables to deal with the flexibility by realizing a thin product using a coil antenna. Further, the wiring pattern is designed such that the winding pattern is provided and distributed to the main wiring pattern forming a loop, and is formed with the wire so as to have a wound shape small enough compared with the main wiring pattern. In this way, the ratio of the self-inductance to the mutual inductance is appropriately made further large, so that the mutual inductance is made comparatively small.

  • Publication number: 20090160109
Abstract: When a take-up pulley 102 is rotated forward by driving a motor 84 forwardly, a holding plate 106 pushes a stopper 112 into forward rotation. When a wire 110 is thereby pulled and being wound around the take-up pulley 102, a control pipe 34 and ultimately an inner pipe 28 is received in an outer pipe 16. When the inner pipe 28 is received in the outer pipe 26 and the inner pipe 28 is held by a lock plate 54, the motor 84 is driven reverse to rotate the holding plate 106 reversely, together with the take-up pulley 102, to space away from the stopper 112. In this state, until the stopper 112 comes into contact with the holding plate 106, the wire 110 can move toward its one end and ultimately the inner pipe 28 and the control pipe 34 can move upward.
