  • Publication number: 20150138590
Abstract: There is provided an image forming apparatus that can form an image by ensuring security and that can reduce a waiting time for image forming. The image forming apparatus includes a communication processing unit that receives an image forming request through a predetermined communication network and that controls reception of image forming data corresponding to the image forming request, and an image forming unit that forms an image according to the image forming data. The communication processing unit restricts reception of the image forming data when a start operation of a secure image forming is received.

  • Patent number: 8746685
Abstract: Disclosed is a printing apparatus that can prevent the occurrence of a transport error and prevent useless printing even when the sheet size of the actually fed sheet is different from the sheet size specified in the printing setting. The printing apparatus forms an image on one side of a recording medium first and then forms an image on another side of the recording medium. A determination section determines the medium length of the recording medium, and a control section causes the recording medium to be ejected to a sheet ejection port after the image is formed on the one side of the recording medium, when the determined medium length is outside of a preset threshold range.

  • Patent number: 7840007
Abstract: A digital data false alteration detection program causes a computer to execute (a) a step (S1) of dividing digital data into a plurality of smaller block data, (b) a step (S2) of extracting noise inherent to a digital data acquisition device for each of the small block data, (c) a step (S3) of calculating correlation of the noise between adjacent small block data, and (d) a step (S4) of detecting small block data having noise correlation lower than a level predetermined for the surrounding small block data, as falsely altered data.

  • Publication number: 20080112011
Abstract: An output processing apparatus comprises a first storage that stores image data in a predetermined block unit, a second storage that stores a head address of each of the image data stored in the block units, and a controller that reads, from the first storage, the same line of the image data of the plural continuous blocks on a line-by-line basis based on the head address stored in the second storage, and outputs the plural lines of the readout image data to a recorder as one line of continuous image data.

  • Patent number: 7251045
Abstract: A printer driver that permits a user to efficiently confirm the contents of a printing setup for a printer. For each of the printing setup entries, a printing setup comparison unit compares the initial printing setup contents with the current printing setup contents. When the printing setup comparison unit ascertains that a difference exists between the initial printing setup contents and the current printing setup contents, the printing setup comparison unit outputs, to a printing setup display unit, a differential printing setup that includes differential printing setup contents, which indicate the current printing setup contents for which the difference exists, and a differential printing setup entry, which is the printing setup entry that corresponds to the differential printing setup contents. The printing setup display unit displays the differential printing setup.

  • Patent number: 5648825
Abstract: In a color image display system formed of a monochromatic CRT or like image display device (102) having a screen (103) for display of images and a rotary filter (106) comprising color filter sections (106R, 106G and 106B) of a plurality of colors; image signals are read from memories (130R, 130G, 130B) at a rate higher than they are written in the memories, so as to reduce flickers. The problem of passing of the reading address over the writing address is solved by reading the image signal of prominent color taking a period in which the passing over occurs. High frequency components of other color image signals are extracted and added to the image signal of each color to thereby enhance the definition of the picture.

  • Patent number: 5574516
Abstract: A color image display system includes a monochromatic CRT or similar image display device which includes a screen for display of images and a rotary filter having filter sections of a plurality of colors. The system further includes memories for storing color image signals corresponding to each of the colors. A control circuit reads the color image signals from the memories at a higher rate than the color image signals are written into the memories to reduce image flickering. The reading operation, however, passes over the writing operation. Discontinuities caused by this passing over are reduced by reading a color image signal corresponding to a less prominent color during the passing over. Discontinuities are avoided by providing an additional memory in the system and alternately reading and writing between one of the first set of memories and the additional memory.
