  • Patent number: 4942513
Abstract: Trouble of a plurality of controlled devices operating in asynchronism with each other can be diagnosed by only connecting a trouble diagnosis apparatus to the conventional programmable controller, without preparing a special trouble diagnosing program on the user program. In another trouble diagnosis apparatus, the reference diagnosis input/output pattern series can be formed by first storing all the input/output pattern series and then deleting unchanged input/output from those to be diagnosed.Further, another trouble diagnosis apparatus includes an input/output designation mode, an instruction mode and a diagnosis mode. In the input/output designation mode, operator can designate important input/output to be registered and deletes unimportant input/output from all the input/output to be diagnosed to find fault locations.

  • Patent number: 4792918
Abstract: Not any special display is required to provide a monitor displaying of I/O data and timer/counter data during operation of programmable controller. Instead, the display of program console will be utilized to display instruction codes and addresses or error messages in characters. Multiple number of sets, in which the numbers of either I/O data or timer/counter data which optionally specified with numbers, are displayed simultaneously on the character display of the program console.

  • Patent number: 4608628
Abstract: Progressing conditions of sequence control are taken as patterns of input/output data, and a plurality of status patterns are set separately from user programs. The status patterns are expressed by a ternary of ON, OFF and EITHER ON or OFF with respect to all the input/output data. When the status pattern at the time of actual control coincides with the set status pattern, the discrimination number of the pattern is displayed.

  • Patent number: 4570215
Abstract: An input/output device for a programmable controller provided separately from said device capable of performing the bidirectional transmission such as taking in the input data and sending out the output data only by connecting the main unit of said controller to said input/output device or devices with two systems of signal line consisting of a serial data conductor and a clock signal conductor.
