  • Patent number: 6955526
Abstract: The vacuum generator is capable of quickly and securely holding and releasing a work piece and capable of reducing amount of consuming compressed air. In the vacuum generator, a first nozzle and a second nozzle jet compressed air toward a diffuser nozzle. The second nozzle has a diameter greater than that of the first nozzle. Switching means switches a state of the vacuum generator between a first state, in which a small amount of air sucked from the vacuum port, and a second state, in which a large amount of air is sucked from the vacuum port. The first nozzle, the second nozzle and the diffuser nozzle are serially arranged in that order.

  • Patent number: 5758905
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a tube joint, which is capable of properly limiting the degree of biting a tube. In the tube joint of the present invention, an inner section of a collet is divided into a plurality of engage pieces, each of which has a nail section capable of biting the tube. An inner tapered face section is formed on an inner wall of a joint proper. Diameter of the inner tapered face section is made greater toward an inner part. The inner tapered face section is capable of reducing diameter of the engage pieces when the collet is pulled outward. An elastic ring is capable of moving outward with rising fluid pressure in the joint proper. A tapered ring is capable of bending the engage pieces radially outward when the collet is pushed axially inward and bending the same radially inward when the collet is pulled axially outward.

  • Patent number: 5692784
Abstract: A tubing joint having a long life span, in which stress concentration can be avoided even if external force from the tube repeatedly works on the ring claw. In the tubing joint of the present invention, the ring claw is formed into a zigzag shape with outer notch sections and inner notch sections. The ring claw has a plurality of outer ring sections, a plurality of inner ring sections, each of which is provided between adjacent outer ring sections, and a plurality of connecting sections, each of which connects an end of the inner ring section with an end of the outer ring section. The outer notch sections are substantially formed into a U-shape, and inner edges of adjacent connecting sections, which mutually face and form each U-shaped outer notch section, are arranged parallel and substantially perpendicular to the outer edge of the ring claw.

  • Patent number: 4747626
Abstract: A tubing joint comprises a grip-ring whose grip-nails bite the outer wall of a tubing inserted into the joint proper to prevent the inserted tubing from moving in the tubing-detaching direction, and a release-ring which releases the bite of the grip-nails on the outer wall of the inserted tubing. The grip-ring is formed in a zigzag ring having a number of notches cut radially and alternately from the inner and outer circumferences of the ring. The outer extremity side of the grip-ring is bent by a constant width in the tubing-admitting direction and the bent ends, i.e., outer extremities, are inserted into a catching section to hold the grip-ring within the joint proper. The inner extremities of the grip-ring formed by the notches serve as grip-nails.

  • Patent number: 4619287
Abstract: Several projected stripes, extending at regular intervals along the direction of fluid flow, are provided over the entire outer surface of a conical diaphragm except its outermost edge and neighboring section, and this diaphragm is set in a fluid-flow path with its outermost edge in tight contact with the wall of the fluid-flow path. The set of projected stripes not only arranges uniform flow of fluid but also prevents the diaphragm from being deformed under the fluid pressure.

  • Patent number: 4607662
Abstract: An input port, an output port, and an exhaust port are opened on inside walls of a fluid chamber in a valve box. A valve body is provided which is capable of swing in the fluid chamber so as to change over the opening and closing of the input and exhaust ports. A controlling mechanism for the valve body is provided which is capable of swing toward the input port to close the input port. The valve body is capable of swing against the pressure of a fluid flowing in from the input port to close the exhaust port, allowing a pressurized fluid to flow out from the output port. For exhaust, the controlling mechanism forces the valve body to swing against the flow-in pressure of the fluid from the input port to close the input port and the pressurized fluid which has entered the output port side is discharged through the exhaust port.
