  • Patent number: 5844778
Abstract: An electrical element comprising a housing or casing, a heat generating part such as a high-tension resistor, a non-heat generating part such as a capacitor, and a resin filling the housing. Further, the electrical element also includes connectors for establishing external connections between the above-mentioned capacitor or high-voltage resistor, the connectors being arranged at positions suitable for them to dissipate heat from the high-voltage resistor and radiate heat outside the element.

  • Patent number: 5591049
Abstract: A high-voltage connector for use on a device such as a flyback transformer or the like has a high-voltage lead wire having a metal cap fixed to one end thereof, and a connector sleeve on the body of the device, having a bore for receiving the high-voltage lead wire. The connector sleeve is provided therein with stopper claws for retaining the metal cap against withdrawal of the high-voltage lead wire, thereby retaining the high-voltage lead wire in the connector sleeve. The high-voltage connector further has a cylindrical disengaging member having a bore receiving the high-tension lead wire. The disengaging member includes a pair of cylindrical members having opposing ends forming an interdigitating portion.

  • Patent number: 5252945
Abstract: A voltage-dividing resistor plate is stored in a case, and a resin layer for insulation is formed on the voltage-dividing resistor plate. On the resin layer, for example, a coupling capacitor and a smoothing capacitor are affixed. And it is so arranged that the potential of the electrode of the coupling capacitor on the side of the voltage-dividing resistor plate is equal to the potential of the voltage-dividing resistor plate where the coupling capacitor is affixed. It is also so arranged that the potential of the electrode of the smoothing capacitor on the side of the voltage-dividing resistor plate is equal to the potential of the voltage-dividing resistor plate where the smoothing capacitor is affixed.

  • Patent number: 5000695
Abstract: A female connector to be used in combination with a male connector to make electrical connection in a high voltage circuit. The female connector has a cylindrical case made of insulating material. A holder made of elastic material is inserted into the case and fixed therein. The holder is formed with a cavity which is open at one end, and a female terminal is disposed in this cavity. The female terminal has a plurality of spring strips at one end adapted to elastically hold a male terminal, and a leader portion at the other end. The leader portion is exposed beyond the end of the holder opposite to the open end. The leader portion has a lead wire connected thereto, the lead wire being led out of the case. The open end out of which the lead wire is led is sealed by a sealing member made of insulating resin.
