  • Patent number: 5740813
Abstract: In order to obtain an index which generally shows the work burden extent of various works carried out in an automobile assembling factory or the like, for each work content, the maximum muscle contraction ratio is measured after the work has been continued for 5 seconds, the work burden index (L) is calculated from the measured ratio value, and the equivalent work burden in a standard work is calculated from the calculated work burden index (L) for 5 seconds. The work burden index (TVAL) of actual work is calculated from the equivalent work burden and the actual work time. Suitably, a work routine plan is corrected such that the obtained TVAL is normalized with an apparatus comprising means for storing the equivalent work burden for each work content, means for displaying an image of the work content, and means for inputting work content parameter and so forth while watching the displayed image.

  • Patent number: 4674247
Abstract: This invention relates to a vehicle window structure. The vehicle window structure includes a window glass, a body member, a window molding, a retainer for the window molding, a seal member secured to body member and another seal member between the window glass and the seal member. The window molding is in contact with the window glass and the body member. The window molding is fixed on the retainer which supports the seal member. The another seal member is secured to an inner surface along an outer peripheral edge of the window glass. Accordingly, the window glass, a sealing assembly including the window molding, retainer and seal member and the another seal member which is secured to the window glass are united before the window glass is fixed on the vehicle body. Further, the another seal member forms a continuous sealing ring along the outer peripheral edge of the window glass to provide more secured sealing effect.

  • Patent number: 4519123
Abstract: A method of mounting a vehicle wiper mechanism, wherein a wiper link is inserted into a cowl through an air duct hole provided in a cowl top. A hook provided in the vicinity of a socket joint at one end of the wiper link is temporarily engaged with an edge of an insertion hole in a cowl fore plate for receiving a wiper motor shaft. A ball joint at the end of a crank fixed to the wiper motor shaft is inserted from the engine side of the fore plate into the socket joint of the wiper link that is exposed through the insertion hole for receiving the wiper motor shaft. Upon completion of this connection the hook of the wiper link is disengaged from the cowl fore plate, and the motor shaft is inserted through the hole to permit securing the wiper motor to the cowl. In this way the wiper motor and wiper link are easily connected to each other without requiring a separate access hole.
