  • Patent number: 4724455
Abstract: An exposure control device for a camera capable of changing f numbers having a device for detecting an f number of a taking lens which constitutes factor A, a photometering device for detecting brightness of a subject as factor B, a device for detecting film speed as factor C, a memory containing a plurality of exposure values adapted to be addressed by a value of at least one factor selected from the group consisting of A, B, and C wherein the exposure values are predetermined by varying the value of the one factor and assuming the non-selected factor is constant, and a control device for determining a difference between a detected value and the assumed constant value of the non-selected factor, correcting the address of the exposure value based on the difference, and reading the corrected exposure value.

  • Patent number: 4668084
Abstract: A distance measuring equipment wherein two images of an object are received on photosensor arrays each, two image data rows indicating a luminous intensity distribution in the object are compared with each other, and a distance to the object is measured from a mutual shift rate of both the signal rows which is required for bringing both the signal rows into coincidence at high correlation. A presence of the shift rate whereat the both image data rows indicate a high correlation is detected when it is present plurally, a part of the plural shift rate including a shift rate corresponding to the highest correlation is stored and taken.

  • Patent number: 4652119
Abstract: A range finder wherein the quantization of analog outputs from light receptor elements for converting an optical image into an electrical signal is accomplished by comparing the outputs from at least two of the light receptor elements in each group, by dividing the outputs into the following three cases: one output is greater than the other; both are equal; and one is smaller than the other.

  • Patent number: 4611910
Abstract: A range finder wherein a photocurrent in a predetermined number of light receiving elements corresponding to images formed by a first and a second optical devices for receiving light reflected by an object through different light paths on a focal plane, arranged in first and second light receiving element trains is quantized with reference to the maximum photocurrent in the light receiving elements by a first and a second quantizing devices, and wherein the corelation between the first and second quantizing devices are used for determining the distance to be measured.

  • Patent number: 4492450
Abstract: A camera having a microprocessor made receptive of various photographic informations through interrupt processing. The information at a higher priority level of said various photographic informations such as a release signal, a photometry start signal and a photometry introduction signal is fed to said microprocessor by the interrupting operation having a shorter period than that of the information at a lower priority level. The interrupt processing are periodic ones, and wherein an inequality of m<n holds when the information at the higher priority level of said various photographic informations is fed with a period m times as long as an interrupt period whereas the information at the lower priority level is fed with a period n times as long as said interrupt period.

  • Patent number: 4462671
Abstract: A camera has a taking lens and a charge-coupled device that detects light through the lens. A warning signal generating circuit includes a capacitor, comparator and an LED or buzzer actuated by the output from the comparator. The reference voltage associated with the capacitor is variable to provide warning time limits commensurate with taking lenses of different focal length.

  • Patent number: 4214826
Abstract: A method of controlling the exposure of a camera comprising steps of measuring the luminance of an object on each surface section thereof by a plurality of photoelectric elements widely arranged on the image forming plane of the camera and where the light from the object to be photographed is received, of gaining the maximum and the minimum values of the outputs provided by any one of the photoelectric elements and detecting whether the difference between the maximum and the minimum values exceeds a predetermined value, and of converting the mode for determining the exposure by the detecting signal.
