The system (22) is of the load-sensing type in that pump displacement is controlled by a pilot pressure representing a load exerted on the system. The arrangement includes means (63) for reducing the pilot pressure delivered to the first pump (18) so that the first pump displacement is regulated down when there is a need for limiting hydraulic power consumption.

Abstract: A small animal litter box which comprises an upper tray with a perforated bottom wall for carrying litter material, and a lower tray for receiving urine and particles dropping from the first tray through the perforated bottom wall thereof. The first tray contains litter material in the form of pellets that are disintegrated into smaller particles when the pellets absorb urine, and the perforated bottom wall has holes dimensioned such that smaller particles from disintegrated pellets pass through the holes while intact pellets are prevented from passing through the holes.

Abstract: A small litter box (1), particularly for cats, comprises an upper tray (2) with a perforated bottom wall (4) for carrying litter material, and a lower tray (10) for receiving urine and particles dropping from the first tray through the perforated bottom wall thereof. The first tray (2) is intended to contain litter material in the form of pellets that are disintegrated into smaller particles when the pellets absorb urine, and the perforated bottom wall (4) has holes (5) each of which is dimensioned such that smaller particles from a disintegrated pellet are able to pass through the hole while an intact pellet is prevented from passing through the hole. Normally, each hole (5) has a diameter f between 4 and 7 mm, preferably 5 mm. Litter material for one in the small animal litter box consists of wood-shavings compressed to pellets with a thickness of between 4 and 7 mm, preferably 6 mm.

Abstract: An apparatus for unloading bulk material, particularly asphalt and the like, from the deck (3) of a load-carrying vehicle, and spreading the material (49) over ground (37) contiguous to the vehicle, includes a spreader unit connectable for support to the rear end of the deck (3). The unit comprises a part (5) arranged for connection to the end of the deck for receiving material from the deck, and with the aid of a transverse conveyor (7) to give this material a suitably agitated or comminuted state and convey it further, and a cantilever arm-like conveyor (9), adapted at its first end to receive the material conveyed according to the above and at its second free end to discharge received material, the conveyor (9) being controllably swivelably suspended (at 11) at said first end, so that it can be caused to sweep over ground (37) contiguous to the vehicle, thereby to spread the discharged material (49) over said ground.
