    Abstract: A method and means of measuring the surface tension of a liquid wherein the liquid is discharged from a liquid container by a pump. After passage through a discharge pipe, the discharged liquid enters a nozzle in which stable drops of liquid are formed. In order to determine surface tension, the pump displacement necessary to provide the amount of liquid for forming each drop is measured.
