    Abstract: A Hold Down Release Mechanism, HDRM, interface for attachment of a spacecraft to an adjacent structure of a launch vehicle or another spacecraft, wherein the HDRM interface is configured for forming part of a single or multi-point releasable attachment of the spacecraft to said adjacent structure. The HDRM interface includes first and second connector parts, wherein one of the first and second connector parts is fastened to said adjacent structure, and other is fastened to the spacecraft; wherein the first connector part has a tapered projection with a non-circular external surface; wherein the second connector part has a tapered recess with a non-circular interior surface configured for form-lockingly receiving the tapered projection, for enabling transfer of torsion and shear load between the first and second connector parts, when the tapered projection is inserted in the tapered recess and the first and second connector parts are pressed together.

    Abstract: A device for thermal analysis of molten metals comprising two thermocouples is described. It comprises a mould (1) with a spherical cavity (2), the one thermocouple (3) being placed such that it extends over the central portion of the cavity (2), a cylindrical duct (5) which communicates with the cavity (2) and a cylindrical part (7) which communicates with the lower portion of the cavity (2), the other thermocouple (6) being placed in the transition between the cavity (2) and the cylindrical part (7). A process for thermal analysis of molten metals with the aid of the device is also described. The difference in temperature (11) in the temperature/time curve for the thermocouple which is centrally placed and the lower themocouple which is peripherally placed when the solidus temperature determined by means of the centrally placed thermocouple (3) has been reached is used as a measure of the thermal conductivity.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for offset presses, and includes an air-IR drying box, through which ready printed sheets are caused to be conveyed with the aid of a sheet gripping shaft, for the purpose of drying pigment deposited on the sheets. The box has top and bottom sections separated at each lateral side by a gap between the sections. Brushes along the gaps delimit the box laterally. The brush at each lateral side comprises brush material covering the respective gap and extending perpendicularly to the conveying direction for preventing the spread of heat radiation and hot air from the IR lamps in the box to different machine parts of the press. The gripping shaft is of a length to extend through the gaps and to deflect the brush material as the shaft passes along the gap.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a system for motor-driven ride-on lawn mowers of the type where the cutting assembly is placed in front of the front axle, in which the front wheels are adapted as driving and braking wheels and the rear wheels as steering wheels. The new feature is that the brake mechanism acting upon the front wheels is provided with a modulation apparatus which, independently of the power exerted by the driver on the brake pedal or the like, prevents the braking power acting upon the wheels from reaching the amount where the wheels would be locked.

    Abstract: An improved hot gas engine heater head where a thermocouple is coaxially positioned in an isolation tube having one closed end and the isolation tube is coaxially positioned in one of a plurality of heater tubes forming a part of a working gas path between two variable volume chambers and traversing a combustion gas flow path. The thermo-couple is in heat-transfer contact with the working gas and is physically isolated from the working and combustion gases. The temperature signal from the thermo-couple is conducted by a conduction wire passing through heat insulating material such that neither the thermo-couple nor the conduction wire is exposed directly to the working gas or the combustion gas.
