  • Patent number: 4751355
Abstract: A pushbutton switch having a contact actuating member movable in the direction of actuation, and a restoring spring which is loaded when the actuating member is depressed. A laterally resiliently deflectable detent element engages an inclined cam surface on the actuating member. When the member is depressed, the cam surface moves downwardly over the detent element causing the element to be laterally deflected, thereby releasing the detent mechanism. Thereafter, the actuating member is then free to move on against the force of the restoring spring.

  • Patent number: 4514609
Abstract: A pushbutton switch is provided comprising a leaf spring with slotted leaf ends for forming a double contact and a fixed contact arranged transversely in relation thereto. The slotted spring ends, in the direction of the leaf spring axis, are provided with groove-shaped stampings. This results in a point-shaped contact which migrates as a result of the bending of the leaf spring so that a high contact pressure is produced and a self-cleaning of the contacts is achieved.

  • Patent number: 4324955
Abstract: The locking bar for mutually acting upon several push button switches, which is slideably arranged within an U-shaped fastening bar for the switches, which are arranged in parallel to each other, consists of a metal bar with punched holes, on which plastic locking elements can be snapped-on. A great variety of locking bars can be built up using only two simple piece parts.

  • Patent number: 4239950
Abstract: A pushbutton switch of the type utilizing contact blades. The blades are the fixed contacts of the switch and consist of a U-shaped contact part and a straight connecting part joined therewith. The connecting part extends through an opening in the base of the U-shaped contact part and projects from opposite sides of the switch housing. Accordingly, the respective parts can be made of different materials and in an inexpensive and simple manner.
