  • Publication number: 20080009592
Abstract: Proposed is a process for preparing a reactive polyurethane composition that is characterized in that in a first process stage, from an isocyanate-reactive polymer or mixture of isocyanate-reactive polymers with a fraction of at least 90%, preferably at least 95%, more preferably at least 99% by weight of linear molecules, by reaction with a polyisocyanate having a molecular weight <500, in a molar deficit of the isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate relative to the isocyanate-reactive end groups of the polymer or mixture of polymers, a monomer-free thermoplastic polyurethane is prepared which in a second process stage is reacted with a low-monomer-content, isocyanate-terminal prepolymer, in a molar ratio of the isocyanate-reactive end groups of the thermoplastic polyurethane to the isocyanate groups of the prepolymer of 1:1.1 to 1:5, to give the isocyanate-reactive polyurethane composition.

  • Publication number: 20070007305
Abstract: The invention relates to an adhesive fluid dispensing device with an adhesive fluid dispensing tip to which a flow from an adhesive fluid cartridge passes, and a manually actuable adhesive fluid cartridge actuating ram. It is provided in this case that the adhesive fluid cartridge is assigned a heating cartridge for heating the adhesive fluid to a temperature sufficient for flow to pass through the adhesive fluid dispensing tip upon actuation of a ram.

  • Publication number: 20050255250
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing parts (1) having a sealing layer (2) on the surface, and corresponding parts. Said method and device are improved in that the sealing layer (2) is applied to the surface in the form of a water-free and solvent-free reactive hot melt layer based on polyurethane and hardened by atmospheric humidity, and the inventive device comprises an application station (6), a transport device (5) and a smoothing station (8).

  • Publication number: 20040250906
Abstract: The invention aims at improving a method and a device (17) for the production of veneers (1) and veneered parts (13) and to veneers (1) and veneered parts (13). To this end, a sealing layer (2) is applied on the surface of the veneer (1) before further processing. The device (17) includes a veneer producing device known per se, a finishing station (6), a transporting device (5) and a polishing station (8).
