  • Publication number: 20170232862
Abstract: The invention relates to an electric drive system and to a method for operating an electric machine, in which the electric machine is controlled in a first operating mode using a first voltage. In order to temporarily increase the power, the electric machine can also be controlled in a second operating mode, in which the voltage used for the control is increased by an additional energy source.

  • Publication number: 20080315681
Abstract: A device and a method for recovering energy during a braking operation of a hybrid vehicle which includes an electric machine in addition to an internal combustion engine, as well as a hydraulic or pneumatic brake system which is operated by a foot brake pedal). The recovery device includes a pedal position transducer which detects at least an actuation of the foot brake pedal in an initial range, and an electronic system which evaluates the signal of the pedal position transducer and activates the electric machine accordingly in generator mode when the driver actuates the foot brake pedal in the initial range.
