  • Patent number: 9670978
Abstract: A vehicle brake circuit including a brake actuator, a manually operable valve, an electrically operable valve and a fluid reservoir for the supply of fluid to the actuator. The manually operated valve may be connected to the fluid reservoir either directly or indirectly through the electrically operable valve, when its position blocks a direct fluid connection with the fluid reservoir. The electrically operated valve controls activation or deactivation of the actuator except when the mechanically operated valve is in an unblocked position and overrides the electrically operated valves control of the actuator.

  • Patent number: 9469285
Abstract: A brake arrangement for a vehicle having a cardan brake and separate left and right brakes. The left brake activated by movement of a first lever and the right brake is activated by movement of a second lever. The left brake, right brake and the cardan brake are activated together by movement of both levers together, characterized in that the cardan brake is connected to a fluid supply in a circuit which comprises a first and a second brake valve arranged in series and the first brake valve is operable by the first lever and the second brake valve is operable by the second lever.

  • Patent number: 9216758
Abstract: A brake and steering arrangement on a tractor comprising a substantially vertically extending structural support column for connection at a lower end to a floor of a tractor cab and carrying means to support a steering wheel at its upper end. A single cylinder is supported within the column. A first braking circuit operates left and right rear brakes and a second braking circuit operates a cardan brake, characterized in that braking circuits are connected to a single cylinder mounted on the steering column in the tractor cab and wherein said steering column comprises a valve unit, so that the brakes are operable by two pedals.

  • Patent number: 9122301
Abstract: A tractor steering and braking arrangement has a substantially vertically extending structural support column 11 for connection at a lower end 12 to a floor 13 of a tractor cab and carrying means 18 to support a steering wheel 15 at its upper end. At least one hydraulic master cylinder 29, 30 for operation of brakes of the tractor is supported within the column 11. The master cylinder 29, 30 includes an operating rod 27, 28 and an associated piston which is moved substantially vertically by an associated brake operating pedal 19, 20. The pedal is positioned at one side of the structural support column 11 and supported for pivoting from the column. Where separate left and right brakes are used, separate left and right master cylinders are mounted vertically within the support column 11. Both pedals are also mounted for pivoting from the column at a position 21 inside the column.

  • Patent number: 8979216
Abstract: A vehicle power braking system has separate left and right brakes (11, 12) operable from a source of pressurized fluid (13) via relay valve means (16) controlled by separate left and right brake operating pedals (14, 15) to provide steering assistance during a turn. The relay valve means delivers a brake operating pressure proportional to the depression of the associated brake operating pedal to separate left and right shift valves (17, 18), each shift valve being connected with its respective operating pedal (14, 15) by a respective pilot line (19, 20) so that when each pedal is operated the associated shift valve is opened by the respective pilot line pressure to supply the proportional pressure from the relay valve means to the respective brake (11, 12).

  • Publication number: 20120272779
Abstract: A lever arrangement for use on an agricultural machine. The lever arrangement comprises a movement plate connectable to an actuation means. The movement plate is provided with guidance means for movement within a guidance track and the plate is moveable by means of a lever. Movement of the lever in one plane results in a first movement of the plate followed by a second movement of the plate. The first movement is a linear, or rotational movement of the plate and the second movement is a rotational, or linear movement of the plate different from the first movement.
