  • Patent number: 6114908
Abstract: The present invention describes a bipolar impedance converter circuit, which comprises a differential amplifier that has a closed-loop control circuit in its negative feedback loop. This closed-loop control circuit comprises npn transistors, which because of their relatively low stray capacitances and their fast switching speed provide an impedance converter circuit with greater invulnerability to disturbances in the supply voltage and have faster switching behavior than known circuits in the prior art, which use pnp transistors in their negative feedback loop.

  • Patent number: 5349554
Abstract: The invention relates to a memory element in current circuit technology having a first, a second and a third transistor pair each with emitter coupled transistors. Each of the second and third transistor pairs is connected in the collector circuit of a respective one of the transistors of the first transistor pair. Connected in each of the pairwise coupled collector circuits of the transistors of the second and third transistor pairs are a first resistor, the collector-to-emitter path of a further transistor with an output signal terminal disposed on the collector side and a second resistor. The collector of one transistor of a fourth transistor pair connected as a current switch is connected with the base of one of the further transistors. The setting and resetting of the memory element is made possible by the fourth transistor pair without increasing the capacitive load on the signal path of the memory element.

  • Patent number: 4168540
Abstract: A register building block is disclosed comprising binary memory cells of cross-coupled double emitter transistors which are fed from a source of constant current and addressed by raising the collector potential. Given a predetermined operating voltage, two memory cells are connected in series to save dissipation loss in each constant current circuit. A switch controlled by one bit of the address is used to select one memory cell from the addressed pair of memory cells. The circuit arrangement disclosed is utilized in highly integrated building blocks.
