  • Patent number: 6592321
Abstract: A device for manually maneuvering a handling unit, includes a mounting structure for attachment to a handling unit which is operated through actuation of a control mechanism connected to the mounting structure. A handle frame is connectable to the mounting structure and includes a cross member and a pair of elongate grip elements detachably coupled to the axial ends of the cross member which is releasably attached to the mounting structure. The cross member and the grip elements can be selected from a plurality of cross members and grip elements of varying lengths to thereby establish a construction kit that allows construction of handle frames of varying configuration.

  • Patent number: 6588712
Abstract: A clamp for a cylindrical includes a base portion and a clamping portion which define together a common through opening for passage of a cylindrical element. Fasteners are provided to brace the base portion and the clamping portion to thereby hold the cylindrical element in a clamping zone. The base portion and the clamping portion are each provided with an attachment surface, wherein the attachment surface of the clamping portion includes a cutout formed with internal teeth for optional positive engagement of external circumferential teeth of a protrusion of a base portion of a further such base portion or external circumferential teeth of a protrusion of a connection piece, such that the internal and external teeth are constrained against rotation. Thus, a series of clamps can be stacked on top of one another.

  • Patent number: 6145443
Abstract: The invention is directed to a suspension for the running rail of a lifting mechanism at a girder, with a cable connecting the girder and the running rail. The ends of the cable are detachably connected with one another by a connection element. To prevent tearing of the redundant suspension or to prevent the cable clamps from damaging the cables in the event of sudden loading, for example, if the primary running rail fastening system tears or breaks, the connection element formed of two wedge locks connected to one another are arranged in such a way that one wedge lock is rotated by 180 degrees relative to the other wedge lock. Accordingly, the working directions of the wedges clamping the ends of the cable are oppositely directed. The ends of the cable which run in from opposite directions can be guided back in the direction opposite to their running-in direction after deflection around the wedges of the wedge locks such that they can be clamped by the wedges, at least under load.

  • Patent number: 6058849
Abstract: A traveling mechanism for a lifting device, especially for a lifting device having a laterally cantilevering boom, is movable on rails with at least two running wheels. A connection element for attaching a load to said traveling mechanism is supported in the rail by the running wheels which are arranged on both sides of the connection element. The connection element has, at the region projecting down out of the rail, at least one running roller which is freely rotatable about a horizontal axis and rolls on a horizontal outer running surface of the rail. To effectively divert horizontal forces and uniformly distribute the vertical forces to the running wheels, running wheel axles are rigidly connected with a running wheel carrier, and the running wheel carrier and connection element are swivelably connected by a universal type joint. In addition, at least one support roller is rotatably mounted at the connection element in the interior of the rail.

  • Patent number: 4702175
Abstract: A trolley is provided as a carriage with rollers running on a rail, and a cable suspension in form of a flexible loop element is suspended from this trolley carriage. The loop element has its end interconnected in the area of suspension, and carries in its lower portion a curved cable supporting platform against which the cable is fastened by means of a flexible clamping band extending through lateral slots of the loop element.
