  • Patent number: 6591675
Abstract: The invention relates to a device having a sensor carrier, which comprises a sheet-metal element and a plastic element and on which a measuring element introduced into the flowing medium is disposed. The use of plastic, which for the most part covers the sheet-metal element, means closer tolerances, which improve the performance of the sensor carrier both in terms of its facing into the flow and experiencing a flow around it, for instance by providing it with an improved aerodynamic leading edge, or the measuring element can be mounted flush to the surface and flush with edges of a sensor cavern, so that no turbulence occurs in the medium in the region of the measuring element or flow under the measuring element. The sensor region of the measuring element is reliably protected by recesses in the longitudinal edges and by a special adhesive bonding process from a gel emerging from the electronic evaluation circuit, so that the measuring characteristic curve behavior is not altered.

  • Patent number: 6534994
Abstract: A measurement pickup is proposed, which has a sensor element for detecting a measurement value that is applied to a carder part (2) and has an electronic measurement circuit (4) for the measurement value detected. The sensor element (3), measurement circuit (4), contact pins (8) and connecting lines (9, 10, 11) are mounted on a carrier part (2), and the carder part (2, 7) comprises a palladium-filled plastic body, onto which conductor tracks (9, 10, 11) for forming the connecting lines can be mounted galvanically at the predetermined locations.

  • Patent number: 4111168
Abstract: To provide for fine adjustment of the timing of operation of the ignition breaker switches, the breaker plate is connected by an adjustable link to a vacuum ignition control diaphragm, the link being a two-element unit, one element having a right-hand thread at the end and the other a left-hand thread, coupled by a coupling element rotatable in both said right and left-hand threads to shorten or lengthen the overall length of the link. The coupling element is externally accessible, for example by means of an additional transmission wheel or gear.
