  • Patent number: 9016358
Abstract: A system for conditioning ambient air in a room of a building in terms of heat and/or cold and optionally humidity, where air flow is accomplished by latent heat accumulator bodies arranged in the room of the building. A separate air duct, which forms an incoming-air flow, is provided to blow out incoming air underneath the latent heat accumulator bodies, while air is sucked in parallel to the surface of the latent heat accumulator bodies.

  • Publication number: 20130103125
Abstract: The invention discloses a device composed of PCM and of an actively cooling heat-exchanger system whose use in humans and animals reliably solves the previous problem of temperature build-up. The system can be configured in any strength, that is to say ranging from integration in flexible stockings to integration in orthosis stumps. This results in the extremely varied areas of application of the described technology, which range from PCMs in the form of modules in coolant channels or in the form of PCM-containing compounds, from which hoses are produced in which coolant can flow, to PCMs with heat exchangers that remove the built-up heat of the body.

  • Patent number: 6615906
Abstract: Latent heat body (1) with paraffin-based latent heat storage material accommodated in a carrier material which has holding spaces, wherein the carrier material comprises fibres of an organic plastics material or natural material or of an inorganic material or of textile materials. The carrier material is assembled from individual carrier-material elements by adhesive bonding, capillary-like holding spaces for the latent heat storage material being formed at least between the carrier-material elements. The latent heat storage material is provided with a thickening agent for providing increased viscosity to the heat storage material while in a molten state.
