    Abstract: A method and an apparatus for producing displays of analogous operational parameters on a screen, with a production device set up to generate a display signal consisting of a number of symbols, with the number of symbols approximately proportional to the level and/or the number of adjusted increments of the operational parameter that is allocated to the display signal, wherein a certain symbol of a specific color and/or a symbol of a specific shape is allocated to an adjusted value of an analogous operational parameter, and the symbol is displayed, while the operational parameter is adjusted to an adjusted value, and the color symbols and/or shape symbols for sequential adjusted values differ from each other.
