  • Patent number: 11609897
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for enhanced data loss prevention. The enhanced data loss prevention may be applied to data that is structured and/or semi-structured data, with the data comprising a plurality of records and a plurality of categories, with each record comprising a plurality of fields, each of which being associated with a different one of the plurality of categories. The enhanced data loss prevention may comprise selecting a subset of records of the data, with the selected subset comprising at least two records having between then one or more records not included in the subset. The fields of the selected subset may be scanned for sensitive information, and a likelihood to contain the sensitive information may be computed for each category based on the scanning. A subset of categories may be selected based on the computed likelihoods, and the sensitive information in the selected subset may be searched.

  • Patent number: 6555070
Abstract: The exhaust component has an exhaust manifold with at least two inlet lines, and, for example, also a catalytic converter and a wall with two composite wall elements. The two wall elements together, in cross section, surround interior spaces of all the inlet lines and, if appropriate, also the catalyst means of the catalytic converter. Each wall element has two single-piece metal shells and a layer of heat-insulating material which is arranged between these shells, so that each wall element provides good thermal insulation. During the production of a wall element, the shells belonging to this element, as well as the layer of insulating material arranged between them, are together subjected to plastic deformation. This allows inexpensive production of the wall.

  • Publication number: 20010029858
Abstract: A printing cylinder of a printing machine that can be immersed in an ink pan is provided with a doctor blade that can be adjusted to it. In order to prevent ink from spraying outward, rings are placed that can rotate freely, but cannot be moved in the axial direction, and carry holding arms that hold wipers in the region between the ink pan and the doctor blade. The rings are held by torque supports in such a way that they cannot rotate with respect to the machine frame.

  • Patent number: 6141843
Abstract: An apparatus and a method of stuffer box crimping a synthetic multifilament yarn, wherein the yarn is advanced in a conveying nozzle by means of a heated conveying gas into a stuffer box and compressed to a yarn plug. At the outlet of the stuffer box, a pair of rolls form a conveying gap for advancing the yarn plug and which has a width smaller than the cross section of the plug leaving the stuffer box so as to compress the yarn plug. The internal passage of the stuffer box is constructed with a cross section that increases in the direction of advance in such a manner that no significant cohesive force develops on the yarn plug, and the resistance to the forward pressure in the yarn plug resulting from the heated conveying gas is provided essentially only by the force on the yarn plug generated by its compression in the conveying gap.

  • Patent number: 5927637
Abstract: A yarn winding bobbin having a tubular wall and which includes a yarn catching slot so that the bobbin is able to catch a continuously advancing yarn during a bobbin changing operation on a continuous winding machine. The yarn catching slot is configured to catch the yarn as the yarn and surface of the bobbin move in the same direction, and it includes a tongue for initially engaging the yarn and a clamping slot into which the yarn is guided by the tongue.

  • Patent number: 5887323
Abstract: An apparatus and method for the production of a multicomponent yarn which is composed of several multifilament strands with differing characteristics, such as color. The individual strands are drawn in parallel and simultaneously by a pair of godets following spinning, and then crimped by compression in an air jet crimping device. According to the invention, the individual strands are spread apart from one another prior to run-off from the drawing godet in such a way that the distance in the axial direction between the run-off points of the individual strands on the godet surface is increased. This spreading of the strands assures that the strands do not intermix prior to entering the air jet crimping device.

  • Patent number: 5579566
Abstract: An apparatus for stuffer box crimping synthetic filament yarns is disclosed, which includes an air nozzle for pulling in and advancing multi-filament yarns at a high speed, and a downstream stuffer box in which the gaseous transport fluid is separated and the yarn is compressed to a compact yarn plug. To increase the production speed and production reliability, the speed at which the yarn is advanced through the air nozzle, and the yarn tension which is produced by the air nozzle is increased. This occurs in accordance with the invention in that the duct for the common advance of the yarn and the transport fluid is configured such that the flow duct narrows in the shape of a nozzle in a first segment down to a restriction at which the outflowing transport fluid reaches the speed of sound, and the duct then widens in a second segment at a small angle of opening.

  • Patent number: 5400486
Abstract: An apparatus for forming a blended yarn from a plurality of yarn strands is disclosed, and wherein the yarns are advanced to contact the surface of a feed roll in a side by side arrangement. A guide roll for each of the yarn strands is positioned upstream of the feed roll, and one or more of the guide rolls has a circumferential configuration which serves to repeatedly move the advancing yarn strands relative to each other so that the strands laterally cross each other on the surface of the feed roll in a predetermined pattern.

  • Patent number: 5251363
Abstract: A method and apparatus for producing multi-colored crimped yarns is disclosed, and which includes the steps of spinning a plurality of differently colored groups of filaments, subjecting the filaments of each group to a treatment liquid, and then combining the filaments to form respective strands. Each strand is then subjected to an air tangling process, then stretched and the strands are thereafter combined in a thermo-pneumatic texturizing process. This processing sequence produces multi-filament yarns with good color blending.

  • Patent number: 5088168
Abstract: A yarn texturing apparatus is disclosed which includes a nozzle having a yarn duct therethrough, and a perforated stuffer box at the outlet end of the duct. Heated air is introduced into the duct, and the air is heated by a heater which is positioned in the air supply line leading to the nozzle. The output of the heater is controlled by a temperature sensor which is positioned inside the stuffer box. Also, the nozzle comprises two confronting sections which can be separated to facilitate yarn thread-up, and a valve is provided in the supply line to divert the heated air to an exhaust line when the nozzle is opened. A second temperature sensor is positioned in the supply line and is operative when the nozzle is opened to regulate the output of the heater and avoid large fluctuations of its output.

  • Patent number: 4961476
Abstract: The arrangement controls a friction element for limiting a rotational speed compensation between the axles of a two-axle or all-wheel-driven vehicle as a function of the difference of the medium wheel speeds of both axles (longitudinal speed difference). This longitudinal speed difference is compared with two driving-speed-dependent tolerance bands, the first tolerance band being determining for positive and the second tolerance band being determining for negative longitudinal speed differences. If the values of the longitudinal speed differences are above the first or below the second tolerance band, the limiting is increased; if the values are within the tolerance bands, the instantaneous limiting is maintained; and if the values are between the tolerance bands, the limiting is reduced. This arrangement may also be expanded to include an adaptation device of the limit criteria with respect to different tread radii of the wheels and a cornering correction device.

  • Patent number: 4796340
Abstract: A yarn texturizing nozzle and method of thread-up of the nozzle are disclosed, and wherein the temperature of the nozzle remains substantially unchanged during yarn thread-up. The nozzle includes a body member having a yarn passageway extending therethrough, and the passageway is adapted to be laterally opened to permit the lateral insertion of the yarn during thread-up. Means are provided for supplying a heated treatment fluid such as air to the passageway, and control means are provided for maintaining the mass flow rate of the air substantially the same during yarn thread-up as when the passageway is closed during normal yarn processing.
