  • Patent number: 8347786
Abstract: An ink chamber doctor blade for acting upon an ink transfer roll of a rotary press with a fluid, in particular with a printing ink, has an ink chamber, which is filled with ink during printing, and which extends in an axial direction of the ink transfer roll, and two doctor blades which are in physical contact with the ink transfer roll during printing and which extend in the axial direction of the ink transfer roll. At least one additional doctor blade can be inserted into the ink chamber doctor blade and can be fixed by holding devices inside the ink chamber. The holding device has at least one element, which is pretensioned by elastic force against at least one counter holder, and with which the additional doctor blade can be pressed against the counter holder.

  • Patent number: 7287471
Abstract: A color chamber doctor blade has two doctor blade knives oriented in a roof-like fashion against a roller, from which the two doctor blade knives can be fixed on a doctor blade chamber body by means of a clamping plate. The clamping plate is in active connection with long-stretch fasteners in the axial direction (z) of the roller. The long-stretch fasteners are arranged substantially parallel to the clamping plate, and apply the force required for fixing at least one doctor blade knife. The resultant of the force exercised by the fasteners points toward the doctor blade chamber body.

  • Publication number: 20060027112
Abstract: The invention relates to a color chamber doctor blade 1, which has following characteristic features: two doctor blade knives 2 that can be set up in a roof-like fashion against a roller 6 from which two doctor blade knives 2 can be fixed on the doctor blade chamber body 5 by means of a clamping plate 3 whereby the clamping plate 3 is in active connection with long-stretch fasteners 4 in the axial direction (z) of the roller 6, which are arranged essentially parallel to the clamping plate 3 and from which the force required for fixing at least one doctor blade knife 2 is applied. Inventive is that the resultant of the force exercised by the fasteners 4 points to the doctor blade chamber body 5.
