  • Patent number: 8979518
Abstract: A toothed wheel machine including a housing for receiving two meshing and especially helical-toothed wheels. The toothed wheels are axially mounted in a sliding manner by axial surfaces between bearing bodies received in the housing, and radially by a bearing shaft received in the bearing bodies. During the operation of the toothed wheel machine, an axial component of a force resulting from the hydraulic and mechanical forces generated during operation acts on each toothed wheel in the same axial direction. A counter-force against the respective axial force component is applied to the toothed wheels and/or bearing shafts, each counter-force applying the same amount of pressure as the respective axial force component, or less than same.

Abstract: A toothed wheel machine including a housing for receiving two meshing toothed wheels. The toothed wheels are axially mounted in a sliding manner by axial surfaces between bearing bodies received in the housing, and radially by a bearing shaft received in the bearing bodies. Hydraulic mechanical forces are generated during the operation of the toothed wheel machine, an axial force component of the forces acting on each toothed wheel in the same axial direction. In order to counteract said axial force component, a pressure field is provided between at least one axial surface of one of the toothed wheels in the direction of the action of the axial force component, and the bearing body adjacent to the at least one axial surface.

  • Patent number: 5496163
Abstract: A gear machine (pump or motor) has two externally meshing gear pairs (21, 22) which are arranged so as to be offset relative to one another and are attached to a drive shaft (31) by a toothing (30), the number of teeth of the toothing (30) being an even-number multiple of the external teeth of the driven toothed wheels (16, 18). The toothing width (b) of the driven toothed wheels (16, 18) on the drive shaft (31) is smaller than their toothed wheel width (B), in particular smaller than one-half the toothed wheel width (B). This improves the mechanical characteristics of the gear machine its operating reliability. The invention can also be used with gear machines with only one gear pair (21a).

  • Patent number: 4958994
Abstract: The gear machine comprises a housing in which two gears mounted on shaft journals mesh. The shaft journals are supported in bushing or eyeglass-shaped bearing members. Located between the latter and the lateral surfaces of the gears are sealing plates which are brought into sealing contact with the lateral surfaces of the gears by axially-acting pressure fields. Relief grooves are formed circumferentially in the outer circumference of the bearing members and are spaced from and adjacent to the sealing plates. These relief grooves communicate with the low-pressure sdide of the gear machine and attain an optimal sealing action.

  • Patent number: 4681514
Abstract: A pump comprising a housing and two end covers receiving a drive shaft with an eccentric thereon and with a plurality of radial pistons displaceable in radial bores provided in the housing and biased by springs. An inlet passage and an outlet passage are provided in each bore receiving the radial piston. A sealing disc is inserted between the housing and one of the end covers. Sealed through openings for high pressure medium are provided in the sealing disc. The maximal feeding flow of the pressure medium is limited by throttled passages provided in the sealing disc. A pressure control valve is provided, which is connected to an inner chamber of the housing, accommodating the eccentric.
