Abstract: The invention concerns with a cleaning equipment (1) for cleaning at least one guide roll (2) in a rotary printing press that feeds a paper web (3), which has at least one cleaning brush (4) in the range of the guide roll (2) that should be cleaned, which is arranged coaxially to this cleaning equipment (1) in the expansion space, defined by the paper web (3), which possesses a bristle field with helically revolving brushes (5), and the brushes are brought with their bristle field to the guide roll (2) with the purpose of cleaning at least in some areas, during the cleaning process; thereby the cleaning equipment (4) has at least one dirt discharge unit (6), through which the dirt particles or similar could be removed from the guide roll (2) by the means of at least one cleaning brush (4).
