    Abstract: An injection-molding machine, especially for thermally crosslinkable and thermosetting materials, and a method of operating same, wherein a resin-distribution or manifold plate is provided along one of the mold halves and is clamped in place by the mold-closing and retaining means during injection, but the plate is withdrawn thereafter to prevent heating of the distribution channels and hardening or crosslinking of the resinous material therein.
