  • Patent number: 11312200
Abstract: A method for actuating an actuator device of a roll stabilizer for a vehicle. The actuator device has a supply line connection for supplying a supply voltage, a converter for supplying an alternating voltage using the supply voltage, and at least two phase lines for supplying the alternating voltage to actuator connections of an actuator which can be operated using the alternating voltage. The method has a step of reading an interruption signal, which indicates an interruption in the supply of the supply voltage or a deviation from the supply voltage at the supply line connection and a step of providing a protection signal at an interface with a protection device using the interruption signal in order to at least partly prevent a generator voltage which is or can be fed into the phase lines via the actuator connections from being forwarded in response to the protection signal.

  • Publication number: 20210331546
Abstract: Disclosed is a roll stabilizer (1) for a motor vehicle, comprising a sensor unit (10), which operates according to the principle of inverse magnetostriction, for acquiring torque (M) acting between stabilizer portions (6a, 6b), characterized in that the sensor unit (10) includes a magnetic field generation device, which preferably comprises a transmitter coil (12) and is used for magnetizing a measurement element (4; 6a) affected by torsional stress during operation, and a plurality of magnetic field detection devices, each of which preferably comprises a receiver coil (13) and which are used for acquiring parameters of the magnetic field of the measurement element (4; 6a). Also disclosed is a corresponding sensor unit (10) for a roll stabilizer (1) of the aforementioned type.

  • Publication number: 20190054792
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for actuating an actuator unit (102) of a roll stabilizer for a vehicle (100), wherein the actuator unit (102) has a supply line port (118) for supplying a supply voltage, a converter (112) for supplying an alternating voltage using the supply voltage, and at least two phase lines (114, 116) for supplying the alternating voltage to actuator ports (132, 134) of an actuator (110) which can be operated using the alternating voltage, comprises a step for importing an interrupt signal (140), which indicates an interruption (130) in the provision of the supply voltage or a deviation from the supply voltage at the supply line port (118) and a step providing (203) a protection signal (142, 144, 146, 148) in response to the protection signal (142, 144, 146, 148) at an interface having protection equipment (152, 154, 156, 158) using the interrupt signal (140) in order to at least partly prevent a generator voltage from being transmitted, which is fed or can be fed into the phase lines

  • Publication number: 20180231051
Abstract: A ball joint (1) for a vehicle, with a housing (2) and a ball stud (3) that extends in an axial direction (A) and includes a joint ball (4) which, with its joint ball (4), is fitted into and can pivot in the housing (2) and which extends outward through an opening (8) of the housing (2). At least one sensor (6) serves to detect a tilt angle (a) between the ball stud (3) and the housing (2). The joint ball (4) has a flattened area (5) and the at least one sensor (6) is a distance sensor arranged on a wall (7) of the housing (2), opposite the flattened area (5) of the joint ball (4), for detecting a distance (d) from the flattened area (5) and, from the detected distance (d) from the flattened area (5), deriving the tilt angle (a).
