  • Patent number: 7011200
Abstract: A friction clutch is provided between an internal combustion engine and a transmission, which is incorporated in a motor vehicle, the clutch comprising driving disks and transmission disks. In order to optimize the clutch particularly with respect to comfort and wear resistance, the driving disks and the transmission disks, at least in the region of the friction sections, are constructed in such a manner that the friction sections are largely shudder insensitive.

  • Publication number: 20030070899
Abstract: A clutch of a friction type between an internal-combustion engine and a transmission is installed in a motor vehicle, for example, of the high-performance class, and comprises drive friction disks and transmission friction disks. For increasing the stressing capacity of the drive friction disks and of the transmission friction disks, at least the drive friction disks consist of a material of a high resistance to wear and a high rotational speed stability.

  • Patent number: 4037713
Abstract: A frame assembly for a scraper-chain conveyor which is usable as a drive or reversing station. The assembly has bearing units, which are supported by spaced-apart side walls. A shaft carrying a chain wheel for engagement with the scraper-chain assembly of the conveyor is mounted for rotation between the bearing units. The chain wheel is constructed from separate parts and can be readily attached to or detached from the shaft without removing the latter. The bearing units have hollow projecting parts which accommodate bearings for the shaft which are protected by seals. These projecting parts smoothly merge with the exterior of the chain wheel. The shaft has hollow end portions provided with splines which can be coupled to a journal introduced into the associated end portion from the exterior of the associated bearing unit which also provides access to the bearings and seals. This journal can then be coupled to a drive means to effect rotation of the shaft.
