  • Patent number: 9724990
Abstract: A motor vehicle (10) has a drive train in the region of a front axle. A body of the motor vehicle has connection points (1, 2, 3) for a laterally arranged internal combustion engine, a vehicle transmission (15) and a torque plate of a motor vehicle (10) that can be driven exclusively by the internal combustion engine. The connection points (1, 2, 3) also are connection points for a hybrid drive train (11). The vehicle uses a modular design principle and can be equipped with differently designed drive systems, including conventional drive exclusively by an internal combustion engine and hybrid drive, without having to make structural modifications. The hybrid drive train may be a serial hybrid or a parallel hybrid.

  • Patent number: 8205702
Abstract: A battery arrangement (1) has at least two battery cell packs (2, 3) arranged in a common battery housing (4). The battery housing (4) has at least one first opening (5) for supplying cooling air and at least one second opening (6) for discharging heated air. The battery cell packs (2, 3) are arranged one above the other and delimit a tunnel (7) therebetween in a height direction. At least one of the first and second openings (5, 6) is arranged substantially at the same level as the tunnel (7). The tunnel (7) is closed at a side facing one of the first and second openings (5, 6) so that air flowing between the first and second openings (5, 6) is channeled through or around the battery cell packs (2, 3).

  • Patent number: 4909642
Abstract: A shiftable elastic support bearing is described for a vibration damper, which is sloped in transverse and longitudinal direction of the vehicle. This support bearing is used in vehicles with different wheel track widths. It has an outer bearing flange which is arranged in an oblique plane, supports itself at the vehicle body and is held by fastening devices. It comprises a receiving element having an inserted ball bearing, this receiving element being connected by an elastic element. The vibration damper can be fixed by the bearing flange in two spaced positions in bearing receiving devices of the body of vehicles. In the bearing receiving device, the bearing flange with the damper is arranged so that it can be rotated around its center line by an angle of approximately 180.degree.. By means of a ball bearing, which can be shifted in height in the receiving element, the damper, in both positions, is arranged at the same height with respect to the bearing receiving device.
