  • Patent number: 10788378
Abstract: A device for determining the temperature of a medium in a tube or in a container is disclosed. The device includes a measuring tube protruding into the medium and closed at the end facing the medium by a measuring tube base, a resistance-based temperature sensor as a main sensor, and a thermoelectric voltage-based temperature sensor as an auxiliary sensor, arranged within the measuring tube at a fixed offset relative to the main sensor. The main sensor and the auxiliary sensor transmit measurement values to an analysis/transmitter unit. If the amount of a difference between the measurement values of the main sensor and the auxiliary sensor exceeds a first specified threshold, a fault notification relating to the integrity of the device is generated in the analysis/transmitter unit.

  • Patent number: 7740403
Abstract: The invention relates to a high-temperature sensor, which can be used at temperatures of at least 600° C. and comprises a metallic protective tube and a measuring resistance that is surrounded by a ceramic powder. The measuring resistance is connected to the electric cable by means of stress-relieved measuring resistance connecting wires and internal conductors. The latter are provided with a solid and/or flexible insulation consisting of a ceramic material. The measuring resistance and the internal conductors are arranged in a metallic protective tube, which narrows in the vicinity of the measuring resistance. The ceramic powder contains admixtures of oxygen-giving oxide compounds.

  • Patent number: 4286879
Abstract: A measuring device, particularly for the measurement of force, has a tilt-invariant interferometer attached to a bifurcated deformation body which consists of a base with one or several diaphragms attached thereon. The interference fringes are counted photoelectrically.
