  • Patent number: 6289947
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for filling a fuel tank (2) with a filling conduit (4). The fuel flow entering the tank is directed by a through flow sensor (53) in order to control and monitor the filling process. A particularly suitable tank system (1) for implementation of said method comprises a fuel tank (2), a filling tube (3) surrounding a filling conduit (4) and discharging into said fuel tank, an adsorption filler (6) connected to the gas area (8) of the tank (2) and a through-flow sensor (53) which detects the flow of fuel in the filling tube (2).

  • Patent number: 4827976
Abstract: In a vacuum distributor box with a suction connection and several vacuum connections, all the vacuum connections are equipped with non-return valves open only when vacuum lines are inserted, both the seals of the box housing itself and the those of the vacuum lines relative to the box housing and the valve sealing seats of the non-return valves being incorporated in a diaphragm seal clamped on all sides between two housing parts.

  • Patent number: 4811562
Abstract: A compact electric adjusting drive for locking systems, fan flaps or the like in motor vehicles includes a fluidic force transmission system between the electric motor and the adjusting element movable to and fro between two end positions.

  • Patent number: 4719775
Abstract: A central locking system for motor vehicles is provided in which, in addition to the key-actuated central function for the locking or unlocking of door locks, an automatic central locking takes place when the vehicle engine is started and on. However, the automatic central locking of the vehicle can be overridden when the engine is running so that entry and exit are possible. After the entry or exit while the engine is running, the doors of the vehicle are again automatically centrally locked.

  • Patent number: 4706738
Abstract: The application relates to a radiator grill for motor vehicles which comprises a plurality of lamellae oriented parallel and arranged at mutual intervals, the free interstices between the lamellae being able to be closed by pressurizable flexible hose(s) as a function of the cooling water temperature of an internal combustion engine, with each of the pressurized adjacent hose(s) being braced mutually in the closed position. The invention provides that such a radiator grill can be developed so that no particularly high pressure needs to be exerted to deform the hose(s), since the hose(s) flex into a closing position and no particularly high strength requirements need be imposed for the resilient properties of the hose material as the hose(s) flex outwardly and do not inflate. Additionally, a simple clip mechanism is provided to attach the hose(s) to the lamellae.
