  • Patent number: 9869349
Abstract: A plain bearing bushing is formed from a material strip, wherein a first joining end of the material strip has a projection and a second joining end has a recess interacting with the projection, a base side of the projection being oriented towards the first joining end. A bushing is to be provided that is designed to be more advantageous with respect to the production method, in particular during the forming process, and with respect to dimensional tolerance and long-term stability. This is achieved by a bushing with clamping elements in which the joining ends of the material strip are fixed both in axial direction and in circumferential direction of the bushing in a frictionally engaged and/or formfitting manner.

  • Publication number: 20080041920
Abstract: An assembly for the interconnection of at least two components includes a press-station, a joining-station and a welding station. A receiver element with first base material and second receiver element with second base material is provided. In the press-station a first press assembly is located for pressing of the first component into the first receiver element. In the joining-station the first receiver element is interconnected with the second receiver element, where the base material interlock together. In the welding station, which is preferably a laser welding station, the two components are welded together with the two receiver elements.

  • Patent number: 7174765
Abstract: A flange sleeve comprising at lest one flange formed thereon, having no gap at the joint or having a controllably adjusted width of the gap at the joint. The flange has two crowding recesses at least in the metal coating thereof in at least two points distributed over the flange in the direction of the periphery. According to the method for producing the flange sleeves, the edge of the flange is bent. At least two crowding recesses in at least two points distributed over the flange in the direction of the periphery are made at least in the metal coating thereof, the recesses preferably being made by bending the edge of the sleeve. The invention also relates to a bending tool and a bending device.

  • Publication number: 20050223546
Abstract: The invention relates to a collar bearing (1) comprising a bearing bush (2) and at least one stop plate (3), whereby said stop plate(s) (3) is/are fixed on an external peripheral surface (12) of the bearing bush (2). The invention also relates to a production method for collar bearings (1) of this type and to a clamping device (18) for carrying out said production method. The aim of the invention is to provide a collar bearing (1), in which the bearing bush (2) is permanently connected to the stop plate(s) (3). A further aim is to provide a method, which can be uses to produce a collar bearing (1) of this type as cost-effectively as possible and which obviates the need for remachining as a result of an inclined, non-perpendicular stop plate (3). The invention also relates to a clamping device (18) for carrying out said method.

  • Patent number: 6282792
Abstract: A bearing bush that can be installed without any auxiliary components and ensures a secure fit has a backing which comprises at least one layer, an overlay (4), on its inner surface and at least one flange (6, 6a, 6b) in the form of a circumferential closed bead provided at a distance from the bush ends. The bearing bush is suitable, inter alia, for flexible joints and pedal bearing systems. The method of producing such a bush takes as its starting point a prefabricated bearing bush (1), the inner surface of the backing (3) of which is exposed in at least one area (5, 5a, 5b) spaced from the bush ends. An internal mandrel is inserted into the bearing bush (1) and the bearing bush is held around its outer surface, at least one gap (23) being left opposite to the exposed area (5, 5a, 5b). The bearing bush is then compressed in the axial direction, the material is thereby displaced into the gap (23, 23′) to form the flange (6).
